    Hello Support
We are a registered charity running a website on wordpress with you plugins for Events.
We have finally taken on the challenge of upgrading from a V3 wordpress site to V4.2.2.
This includes upgrading Event Calendar Pro V2.0.11 to V3.10. We have done this on a staging copy of the site.

The Theme directory had custom views and plugins overrides that where in the directory
    >wp-content>themes>themename>events
    ecp-page-template.php, ecp-single-template.php,events.css,events-advanced-list-load-widget-display.php, events-list-load-widget-display.php, full-address.php, gridview.php, list.php, single.php, single-venue.php, table.php, table-mini.php, tableORIG.php, tickets.php, widget-featured-display

We have follow the basic instructions on creating a new directory >tribe-events> and moving above files into there, we have tried subdirectories under there also >pro> etc and copy the files in.

All of which is not working.

you can see the difference in before upgrade and after.
Can you give me heads up on how to address this problem.

    Before (v2.0.11)

    After (V3.10) (total copy)

I really hope you can help with this problem as my fear is the version change from V2.0.11 to V3.10 is massive and the differences on theming are a complete rebuild which we can afford.

    Kind Regards
    D

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I was not around for the 2.x to 3.x upgrade over two years ago, but the change was a massive overhaul and 2.x templates and functions do not work with 3.x as both templates and functions changed.

Unfortunately, it is a complete a rebuild for the custom changes you made in 2.x to 3.x.

If this is something you are unable to do right now and would like a refund please follow our refund policy:

Sorry to disappoint on this, I can try to help answer specific questions if you like and help out as much as I can.

    Thanks

hate that the reply is marked private. It might have helped me install Events Calendar Pro 3.10. I’ve upgraded my Events Calendar but there’s no option to upgrade the Pro version. I’d like to do it through my admin dashboard instead of FTPing the files. Can you tell me how to get the two back in sync?

    Hi hill8978,

That private reply does not contain information that would help do that.

If you do not want to ftp a plugin update and automatic updates are not working.

You can deactivate and delete pro and then get the latest version from your account here and upload it and active it all through the admin.

Deactivating the event plugins does not erase settings or change events.

If you have further issues, please create a new thread one on one and we can better help you that way.

    Cheers
