MemberYep Pro and Community Events work together, they are just separate plugins.
We do not endorse any specific themes. We personally test against WordPress Codex themes, I used Genesis myself, and I have seen good work from Boxy Studios.

MemberHi,
Pro has all these features listed on the Products Page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
But the main ones are new event views, widgets, recurring events, and additional fields.
Cheers

MemberHi John,
Sorry for the issues. George is out, but I can help out today.
Can you confirm you are entering the license keys and getting a green validation message and then clicking Save Changes under the keys and getting a save confirmation.
Also, you can always manually update the plugins if you need to do it right away.
You can download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and follow these steps for manual updates.
Let me know about the saving process and we can go from here.
Thanks

MemberHi Jeff,
George is out today, but I can help keep this moving along.
If a person submits an event and adds a new organizer each time instead of selecting an existing one it would duplicate them. Do you think that is what is happening here?
Let us know.
Thanks
Brian
MemberI am glad to see you were able to figure it out. I brought this up with our support team as it is the second time I have seen this mentioned today.
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.

MemberHi,
George is out today and I can help out.
The way our system is setup it will always have to create an event for each day it displays. So if you have a class every Monday for 8 weeks it needs to create 8 events. Whether it is a single event 8 times or a recurring event.
Also, a recurring event series shares the same information it is just on different dates, so to me that is a multi-day event that is one event.
Are you looking to create one event in the backend and then select all the dates from there that it should appear?
That is duplicate of what we do with recurring events as the whole series can be edited at once. The only difference is in ours we create each event and connect them, while in yours it is just one event.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
If you like Community Events all you have to do is purchase that plugin.
Community Events features are not included in Pro and you do not need Pro for Community Events to work.
You only need the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets.
The tickets are setup as Products in WooCommerce and do accept WooCommerce Coupons.
We do not have any features to create vouchers or gift certificates, but if another add on did that with WooCommerce they should also work on the Event Tickets.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
We do not have a feature to merge the two. It might be possible with a customization to the templates following our Themer’s Guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
In the Filter Bar settings you could change the Filters Layout to Horizontal and that would cause it to show under the Search Bar.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian

MemberHi,
Unfortunately, both date formats with day first and with dashes cause the end date for recurrence to not work correctly.
The workaround for this until we can release 3.12 to fix it is to change this setting to this:
Events > Settings > Display > “Datepicker Date Format”
To either this:
01/15/2015
Or this:
1/15/2015
I do not have a timeline for the release of 3.12, but we are done with developing it and starting our QA.
Let me know if that works for you for now.
Thanks
