Brian
MemberHi,
If it is still giving you the error. You would have to go into the plugin directory and make sure all copies of the events calendar are removed.
Since it sounds like WordPress is still find one there.
Brian
MemberOk not sure what the issue is.
Try using the Plugin Logic to disable that plugin on the event views and single templates:
That might help resolve this.

MemberOk thanks for the information.
If you create a similar Event as a test does that work or is it broken too?
Brian
MemberHI,
Thanks for reporting this.
It is there, but for some reason not picking up the translation.
I have made a bug ticket to address this.
For now you could follow the themer’s guide to move that file to your theme and edit there:
Brian

Since this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

MemberOk thanks for the information.
This is indeed a known issue with how excerpts are parsed in the plugin and we’re working on a fix. In the meantime, please try the adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file and it should resolve the issue for now:
https://gist.github.com/ggwicz/ba85b0f9aa4dadbda538
Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Brian
MemberOk we looked into some more and found the issue is a bug in WP eCommerce itself and WordPress 4.4
This thread gets into all the details:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-44-problems-with-plugin?replies=40
In short, the current fix is a modification to WP eCommerce’s
wpsc-includes/cart-item.class.phpfile adding the following on line 511:if ( $this->custom_message == null ) {
$this->custom_message = '';
}If you try that does it work for you?

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Are you having issues with the license not saving? If so follow this to get it to save:
Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.
Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:
Visit License Tab
Enter License Key
You get a Green License Valid Message
After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page. Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:
Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.
If you have purchased a plugin from us, please login and post in the premium forums for that plugin and we can help you out there:

Thanks again!

MemberHi Again,
Sorry for the late reply here.
Have you updated to WordPress 4.4? I am seeing some reports of redirect issues on events created before the update.
AS a first step can you please resaving permalinks:
Admin > Settings > Permalinks > “Save Changes”
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks
December 18, 2015 at 6:12 am in reply to: Photo View not showing events in correct date order #1043577Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
The isotope script that arranges everything takes in size of the box, but not the date.
So the events might get out of order depending on their sizes.
If you use a mobile phone to view the events are in the correct order.
The only way to get them to line up in that view is to force the same height across all the events there.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberI am glad to see you were able to figure it out.
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.
Thanks!

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues here.
This is html formatting in the excerpt field correct?
It appears to be an unintended change in 4.0 if so.
Let me know.
Thanks
Brian
