There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key has not been entered. Please go to the Events Calendar Options page to enter your license key.
When I click the link it tells me I don’t have permission.
I manually get there, enter my key, and it says thanks and shows me the expiry date.
BUT IT NEVER REMEMBERS THIS and now I can’t update the Pro Version to match the regular version.
Events Calendar 4.0.2
Events Calendar Pro 3.12.2What do I do now?

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.
Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:
Visit License Tab
Enter License Key
You get a Green License Valid Message
After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page. Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:
Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.
Thanks

ParticipantUsing Microsoft Edge the flow doesn’t exactly go in the order presented. I found you have to enter the key and then press Enter while the cursor is still in the key field box. Then you get the green message, then you can click on Save changes. I never see anything about the key being accepted or updated.
I was able to go back to the dashboard, updates, and install the latest pro version so it matches the free but somehow I think I went through this before and then for the next update had to re-enter the key again before the pro version would update.
I’ll try to keep track of that for next time but for now I am updated, thanks!
