A problem with what appears to be a corrupted link was brought to my attention this morning. I’ve looked at the two events involved and can’t see anything amiss. The video here tells the story: http://screencast.com/t/7twf6Ye5zPI And here’s the narrative:

    • I’ve got two separate full-day events, each with a title of “Lectionary”, but each with a unique slug.
    • Hovering over the first event (for January 6, 2016) brings up the correct tooltip. Clicking on the event brings up the correct event details.
    • Hovering over the second event (for January 10, 2016) brings up the correct tooltip. But, clicking on the event brings up the event details for January 6, 2016…

I’m not sure what’s going on or how to fix it. I’ve checked a handful of other dates and haven’t found another instance like this, but then we’ve got hundreds of events already and I can’t check them all. For now, I’m assuming this is a one-off…

    Any ideas?

    Hi Again,

Sorry for the late reply here.

Have you updated to WordPress 4.4? I am seeing some reports of redirect issues on events created before the update.

AS a first step can you please resaving permalinks:

Admin > Settings > Permalinks > “Save Changes”

Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks

I have indeed upgraded to 4.4 and after following your instructions, the problem persisted…

I tried changing permalinks to “Plain”, which resulted in a 404-Not Found error (which I think I understand, given the way TEC renders the page, and I don’t want Plain anyway). Then I changed permalinks to “Numeric”, which rendered the page, but didn’t fix the problem I’m reporting here. I purged both local and server-side caches between each step, by the way.

Will await further instructions from you.

    Ok thanks for the information.

If you create a similar Event as a test does that work or is it broken too?
