ParticipantHi, KLC. This is a great question. 🙂
First, we always encourage user to make a complete backup of their site before updating plugins. Please take the time to do this in case anything unexpected happens after the update is complete.
When updating to the newest version of WooCommerce Tickets, you should be prompted automatically, assuming you have your license key installed. Otherwise, you’ll want to rename the plugin’s folder in your backend file manager, and then upload the new version using the admin interface. (The admin interface will not allow you to overwrite the folder of the existing plugin.)
All the data is kept in the database, so you don’t have to worry about losing data when updating the plugin versions.
Please let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantHi, Mike. I’m sorry but I have no further information on any features that will make it into our next release.
Thanks for asking! 🙂

ParticipantHi, pknvelp. Would you mind giving me admin access to your site so that I could check it out? If you send your login info and license key to pro (at) tri.be, I can get it from there.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi, Erin. First, let me apologize for the delay over the long weekend. I really appreciate your patience.
I just took a look at your site now, and it appears that all the events are there. Would you mind checking it out and letting me know? 🙂

ParticipantHi, Jonathan.
I decided since I had the time now, I would update your Eventbrite plugin to 3.2.1 (You’ll want to delete the deactivated 3.2 version.) and add the code to your theme’s functions.php (There’s a backup of the old one labeled with today’s date in your theme’s folder.). I tested it with the event on 12/12 and everything came through just fine. Please see for yourself.
I notice that you’re not running a child theme. This means that you must preserve the code added to your functions.php before updating your theme. If you do not, this change will be lost and you will need to recreate it yourself. It might be worth investigating using Child Themes to avoid this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#Using_functions.php
Please confirm that you can see the fix, and it works for you. 🙂

ParticipantActually, I just got in. Please confirm you have backed up the site, and I’ll add the gist.

ParticipantHi, Jonathan. I’m having trouble logging into your sFTP server. Would you please send the credentials in a private reply and also confirm that you have backed up your site?
Thanks!

ParticipantFantastic! 🙂 Since you’re set for now, I’ll close this thread. Please start a new one if anything else comes up.
