ParticipantHi, cfunkyk. Hope you had a nice weekend.
I’m hoping no news is good news, and the issues with your site have been resolved. Regardless, we’d be grateful if you let us know how things are going. If we don’t hear back, we’ll plan to close this thread later in the week.
Thanks for being a TEC User!

ParticipantHi, danielyaeger. Sorry for your frustration.
Have you checked to make sure you’ve changed the visibility on the ticket in the products catalog? By default, tickets are hidden.

ParticipantHi, Anna. Thanks for getting in touch with us about your display issue.
I was able to replicate the issue successfully on your site, and I’ve relayed the situation to our team. Unfortunately, it looks like this may be deeper than what we could just give you a snippet for.
We’re past the point of adding any fixes to the upcoming release of The Events Calendar, which should be out in a matter of days. We’ll definitely work to get something for you in the subsequent one.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do in the interim. I’m very sorry that I’m not able to give you a fix more quickly.

ParticipantHi, corebarre. Thanks for getting in touch.
I’m having trouble replicating your issue. Would you mind telling me a bit more about your environment including your theme? Hopefully, that will help us chase down the root of the problem.

ParticipantHi, Mark. Thanks for asking!
I’m wondering if there might be some confusion between WP Categories and TEC Catogories, which are separate taxonomies. (Tags are consistent across both.) Do you think that might be part of the trouble?
Otherwise, please shoot us some links/screenshots so we see what you’re looking at, and we’ll do our best to get to the bottom of it.

ParticipantHi, frontierstrategies. Thanks for your reply.
As noted at the top of that page, the documentation there is for 2.x versions of the product. Please use the current documentation page linked at right (http://docs.tri.be/).
Hope that helps. Let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you in making this customization.

ParticipantHi, frontierstrategies. Thanks for the login credentials.
After taking some time to look at your site, this looks like this is a pretty bespoke customization that we’re not really able to support. If you’d like a recommendation for a developer that could help you out, we’re more than happy to give you a list. Unfortunately, we’re unable to help with things like this beyond pointing you in the right direction and making sure you know where to find our documentation.
I’m really sorry that we couldn’t be of more help.

ParticipantHi, culturejam. Thanks for posting.
Sometimes issues that seem similar on the surface actually have a different root cause. If you’re experiencing trouble with WooCommerce Tickets, please start a new topic so that we can help you get to the bottom of it.
On the other hand, if you really think that you have the same problem as scrimshire, it might be worth waiting until our next release which is due out in a matter of days at this point.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, accessrose. It sounds like this is more of Community issue, so I’m moving it to that forum. Someone over there should be able to help you.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantThanks for the suggestion, vortikasrl. I’ll definitely relay the feedback.
So glad we were able to get you back in business today!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, vortikasrl. So glad to hear that we’re making progress. That’s great news.
Unfortunately, the word “category” is used in many different places and often for different taxonomies. The “categories” in TEC are different from those in WP which are different from those in WooCommerce. All tickets for all events are in the “Tickets” category of WooCommerce. The category of the event does not transfer or impact the category of the Ticket in WooCommerce. You can add another category to the ticket through the WooCommerce product area, but by then, it may just be simpler to specify each ticket in the coupon.
I’m sorry it is so confusing. Hopefully, that helps a little bit.
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, Mallen. I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble with the key.
There’s no need to enter the URL of the site into your account here. It’s picked up manually. So, that shouldn’t be the issue.
If you’d like to give us credentials, we can check it out on the backend of your site. Just let us know how you’d like to proceed.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, vortikasrl. Welcome to the Modern Tribe community.
I think I understand that you’re looking to limit coupons to be limited to use on only certain tickets, right? As you say, this is done through the “Add New Coupon” screen in WooCommerce.
Basically, you’ll need to include or exclude tickets by the ticket name or number. As you type in the names, the tickets should appear in a drop down from the field.
Hopefully that helps. If you would like further clarification, just let me know where you’re running into trouble and I can try to explain further.
Thanks for being a TEC user!
