I have a conflict when viewing categories. When I view categories /events/category/test-category I receive a white screen only. After a little research I realized the customer is using a custom permalink structure (/%category%/%postname%). When I reset the permalinks to default everything works properly. Looking to track down a temporary or long term solution if there are any ideas.
I’m wondering if there might be some confusion between WP Categories and TEC Catogories, which are separate taxonomies. (Tags are consistent across both.) Do you think that might be part of the trouble?
