MemberI don’t see why not. Though not an endorsement (I haven’t used it, I just found it with a quick search) the pro version of this plugin would seem to fit your needs and might be worth looking at.
That aside, please do lend your voice and add support for this feature over on UserVoice as that is one of the primary gauges we use when assessing demand for new features:

Thanks!

MemberNo problem at all – it sounds like you’re all good on this front but just to be clear there’s no specific place you have to put that snippet, so long as it is in a valid spot in your theme’s functions.php file (and not for instance within an existing function or something like that).

MemberOK, glad you’re sorted and thanks for sharing the code π

MemberExcellent, glad you’re all sorted and thanks for reporting back with the fix π
Barry
MemberDefinitely, thanks Matthew.
Both strategies should theoretically carry on smoothly and not impede or be impeded by the fix when it does arrive, but it would certainly be best to remove it as a matter of good housekeeping so I’ll certainly update the thread at that point.

MemberHi Dante,
Is it possible to customize the WooTickets that the ticket includes a TShirt (for example). If a customer purchased 5 tickets they can tell a personβs name and shirt size?
That is certainly possible – however it’s not something you are likely to be able to do using just The Events Calendar, WooCommerce Tickets (or “WooTickets”) and WooCommerce itself out-of-the-box.
Possibly there may be an existing WooCommerce extension you could buy and install that may get you even closer to what you want here (definitely take a moment to review the available addons over on the WooThemes site) but I suspect some programming and WooCommerce development know-how would be needed here.
Additionally do you have to have the PRO version of The Event Calendar to run WooTickets?
No, just the core The Events Calendar plugin plus WooCommerce itself. You can certainly use Events Calendar PRO in addition to those but it is not required.

MemberThanks Rick – I shall pass that on and get the translation updated π

MemberOK, well the error message won’t be visible in all cases – certainly with the version of WooCommerce Tickets (“WooTickets”) you referenced above it almost certainly will be a problem unless either one of the two fixes from the other thread are in place, or unless you had already created a template override for tickets.php.
That said, if you’re still hitting a problem could you share an example of one of the affected events, both by providing a URL I can look at and a screenshot showing the ticket settings (start and sale dates, quantity, etc)?
Thanks!

MemberHi Noel, we can replicate this even on a ‘plain vanilla’ installation, so it would appear to be a bug in our code. It’s been logged and a member of the development team will get round to it shortly – as soon as there is some progress I’ll update this thread.
Thanks for your patience!
Barry
MemberNo problem, thanks for checking back in – appreciated π
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but if you need anything else with regards to any other issues that may crop up then of course feel free to create new threads as needed.

MemberOK, so it looks like this was anticipated and resolved early on in the 3.0-development process. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, the magic that made it worked was dropped and the plugin was released without this.
It’s now back on the radar and should be included in one of our forthcoming maintenance releases.
Thanks for your patience!

Member@puttenhamschool it would definitely be appreciated if you could create your own thread for this π
It could get confusing if I’m simultaneously working through two different albeit similar problems, especially when folks are at different stages of the troubleshooting process. You can probably also imagine how confusing it would then become if yet another person jumped in to the thread – it makes it hard for us to help everyone and delays things for everyone.
Your assistance is appreciated!
@giogulez: would it be possible to see what’s happening in your case with the Default Page Template enabled? -
