ParticipantHi there,
Navigation menu disappears on events page.
I’ve tried to change permalinks and event page template, didn’t work.Any thoughts?
Thank youJuly 23, 2013 at 1:54 pm #56646Dawn
ParticipantHi
I have this too – since updating to the latest version – so it will display the monthly calendar view, but there’s no navigator/title that shows me which month is being displayed, I also don’t have the ability to scroll forward to the next month.

MemberHi folks,
Thanks for posting. We just released The Events Calendar 3.0.2 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.4, so firstly I recommend updating to those. Also, can you tell me what themes you’re using? I’m wondering if that is causing a conflict here.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Leah,
I’m using Foxy Portfolio By WPExplorer Version 1.21
It’s a responsive theme.I’ll update plugin but I did some changes in core css files.
Can I keep those and change after update?July 23, 2013 at 9:14 pm #56742giogulez
ParticipantI update plugin and change css file, it’s fine.
But still menu disappear on events page.
-Single event page menu is ok.
Thanks,

MemberHi giogulez,
Can you confirm which template you are using (you can check this by visting Events → Settings → Display) – I would just like to confirm if it is currently the Default Page Template, Default Events Template or something else.
@puttenhamschool: definitely do feel free to monitor this thread but it may be a quite different problem in your case – in which case it would be best to create a new thread of your own (simply to avoid confusion). Thanks!July 24, 2013 at 9:21 pm #57018giogulez
ParticipantHi Barry,
I’m using Default Events TemplateJuly 25, 2013 at 5:38 am #57049Barry
MemberOK, so in that case it will call the header.php and footer.php templates and since in most themes the menu will be incorporated into the header.php template there will be no problem.
I’m surprised though that it doesn’t work with the Default Page Template – can you change it to that setting so I can take a look and see if there are any obvious clues?

ParticipantHi – our problem occurred when we upgraded to Events Calendar 3.0.2 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.4 a couple of days ago. We are using Incarnation Theme from Kreisi. The month and year also disappeared, but I used some code suggested in another thread, which fixed this (in quick CSS) – The issue was that the text was showing as white on white. I think this is the same issue for the navigation buttons, but don’t know how to fix this. I’m using the Default Events Template. If I change to Default Page Template, the navigation prompts reappear, but the calendar no longer looks right with the theme, so I need to stick with the Default Events Template.
Is there anything I can add to get the Navigation prompts to show again? If not is it possible to back out and return to the previous version of Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro? thanks..July 25, 2013 at 1:28 pm #57190Barry
Member@puttenhamschool it would definitely be appreciated if you could create your own thread for this 🙂
It could get confusing if I’m simultaneously working through two different albeit similar problems, especially when folks are at different stages of the troubleshooting process. You can probably also imagine how confusing it would then become if yet another person jumped in to the thread – it makes it hard for us to help everyone and delays things for everyone.
Your assistance is appreciated!
@giogulez: would it be possible to see what’s happening in your case with the Default Page Template enabled?July 25, 2013 at 1:30 pm #57193Dawn
Participantok – found something that works well enough – added this into quick css and it’s done the trick with the navigation prompts.
#tribe-events-content a, .tribe-events-event-meta a:hover {
color: black;

MemberOK, would it be possible for you to share the theme with us? If you could make it available as a .zip file that we can download we can take a closer look.
File sharing services like Droplr and Dropbox – or even just uploading the .zip to your WordPress site and noting the URL – are all good ways of doing this.
