When you talk of its “related page”, do you mean any single event page belonging to the category – or something else? Are you trying to do this in the sidebar/via the Events List widget?

Hi fguijarrob: if you are updating manually then (take a backup first of course!) you would normally remove the existing plugin directory before uploading the new version. You could alternatively overwrite it, but that could leave legacy files in place which isn’t normally desirable.

Hi corebarre: can you provide some examples of the single events that are not displaying (in list/month view)?
OK, so I’m not familiar with Mappress. Can you fill in the blanks as to where it pulls the data from? Although I logged in and took a look at the Mapppress options via your dashboard I couldn’t identify a list of locations, etc.
On the front-end, I do notice a number of Javascript errors and so it is not impossible that they are impacting, should population of the map ultimately depend upon code written in Javascript, which isn’t unlikely.
With that in mind can you also try deactivating all other plugins except for ours and of course Mappress and switch to a default, unmodified theme like Twenty Twelve and see if the problem still occurs under those conditions?

Sorry for the delay first of all – I’m not sure how we missed this one but we do try hard to respond within 24hrs of posting during the working week and obviously didn’t quite catch this.
We have several secure order forms on our site and use the “Enable SSL” option on them.
Can I ask if what you are using to generate these forms – and is that plugin solely responsible for enforcing that the page is served via HTTPS, or are you using any additional plugins like to help with this?

One approach could be to add an extra set of checks (within the custom piece of code you pasted) to detect if you are on an event-related page and then output something different in those cases:
if ( tribe_is_event_query() ) echo 'Upcoming events';Something like that should broadly do what you need, of course you may need to tweak it slightly to add it to your current code and to get the exact result you are after. Hope that helps!

Can you try adding some CSS like this either to a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet or some other suitable location for user CSS made available by your theme?

Unfortunately I can’t observe your site without a login ad it looks like the forum software has stripped out whatever code you posted (unfortunately, it’s pretty poor at handling posted code). Could you share that a second time but by linking to the same code on Gist, Pastebin, Droplr or a similar service?

Thanks Karen: so is the problem that the map on from page of your testing site is not populated as is the equivalent on your live site? Or is that simply because whatever source of data it draws upon isn’t present?
OK, on this occasion then I think we’ve pretty much exhausted our options: best I can tell this is a very specific problem that no one else is reporting and I am unable to replicate on a test installation.
Really all I can do at this point is offer a list of freelancers and independent developers who might be able to take this forward for you by investigating and figuring out a solution that will work in your specific scenario, if that’s of interest?
