MemberSure thing – please email us at pro (at) tri (dot) be and the team can furnish you with an up-to-date list of recommended freelancers/developers.
Thanks (and I’ll go ahead and close this thread).

MemberI can definitely understand that.
As we can’t replicate locally though it’s difficult to get to the bottom of this. All I could really suggest at this point is installing a new WordPress installation and setting things up with only our plugins and nothing else: then see if this problem still occurs. This would almost be the reverse of our ordinary troubleshooting steps, because you would be starting with nothing and building up from there to mimic the stack of plugins and theme(s) running on your live site.
You could do this locally if you have a local environment set up, and/or you could even do it in a subdirectory on the same hosting account as your live site.
If you find things don’t work with anything else running on a new test installation then that would indicate it is an environmental problem – particularly relevant if you run the test in a subdirectory in the same hosting account – and that your hosting environment needs to be tweaked or perhaps (but hopefully not) it may indicate that it is simply unsuitable. On the other hand, you might find you can rebuild the same stack and it works perfectly (which might indicate the issue is somewhere within the database of the live site). Or the problem could lie in between those states – either way, this approach would give us some useful information, though I appreciate it may not be something you can jump on immediately and that you may even prefer to await the next release of our plugins before attempting this.
Does that sound viable here/make sense?

MemberI’m going to close this as it’s been quite a while without any activity. Of course if you need further help with this or anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new thread or threads as necessary – though for feature requests posting over on UserVoice is the best course of action. Thanks!

MemberHi websource,
I’m sorry to hear it isn’t working out for you.
Can you provide a little more detail though? What exactly isn’t working and have you tried them with no other plugins and only a default, unmodified theme running?
Let us know – thanks!

Member(Could also be worth taking a peek at your system information, if you want to share it – you can find it at the bottom of the Events → Help admin screen. Thanks!)

MemberTrying to reinstall it isn’t a bad idea here. Are you at home working by FTP and if so can you tell me if that file is indeed missing? It would normally be located in the Events Calendar PRO plugin directory, something like this:
wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribe-events-pro-pue.class.php
If it is missing then I can only guess something went wrong when it was initially uploaded – and re-uploading may be worthwhile here. If it is actually present though it may be some sort of environmental issue at work.
Let me know how you get on!

Member@dcvision: I’m sorry to hear that, however that sounds like a quite different problem from that which Mike is experiencing. Can I ask you to post a new thread of your own for this?
@Mike: that’s unfortunate – certainly the assets you listed were ones that shipped with the older branch of The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO and are no longer in use. I’m not sure why there would be any lingering references to them, though, unless perhaps you have custom code that explicitly tries to enqueue them or else you have caching in place.
I did just visit your site though and it looks like the current CSS/JS files are being correctly loaded, without any trace of the older ones. Can you confirm if this is still a problem for you and, if so, provide a URL that will take me to a location where I can observe it?
Thanks!

MemberHi southlandschurch,
I’d be happy to take a look but please bear in mind we’re pretty limited in terms of how much support we can offer for custom development work.
Can I ask you to share that code via a service like Pastebin, Gist or Dropbox? Unfortunately the forum currently has a few issues when it comes to displaying code and I would be worried that some elements of what you posted have effectively been stripped out.
The other part of the puzzle is not knowing what sort of event data you are testing against. Can you provide a sample, even if that’s a quick summary along the lines of the following:
- Tea Party, 2 February 2014
- Coffee Morning, 10 February 2014 (recurring, weekly)
- Discount Event, 15 February 2014 – 16 February 2014
- TV Sale, 17 February 2014 (all day)
- Coffee Morning, 17 February 2014 (recurring, weekly)
- Farmyard Square Dance, 19 February 2014
- Coffee Morning, 24 February 2014 (recurring, weekly)
- …etc…
Or even share a link to your upcoming events page so I can see for myself what you are working against so I can assess what sort of results I would expect to be returned.
Thanks!
