Mike
ParticipantHi there
I just upgraded from 2.0.11 to 3.3 for both TEC and TEC Pro.
The calendar is displaying, but none of the jquery/ajax is working.Upon inspecting the page, I can see 4x 404 errors trying to find some files.
When I login via FTP, the files are genuinely not there. The errors are:
GET http://www.gosfordnetball.com.au/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/events-mini-ajax.css?ver=3.5.2 404 (Not Found) (index):34
GET http://www.gosfordnetball.com.au/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/jquery.pjax.js?ver=3.5.2 404 (Not Found) (index):39
GET http://www.gosfordnetball.com.au/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/events.js?ver=3.5.2 404 (Not Found) (index):40
GET http://www.gosfordnetball.com.au/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/events-mini-ajax.js?ver=3.5.2 404 (Not Found)I deactivated all plugins, same problem. Which would be expected because the files simply aren’t on the server so I guess they will always be missing.
I renamed both plugin folders and re-installed by re-uploading both plugins, and the same error occurs.
Please help.

Member@dcvision: I’m sorry to hear that, however that sounds like a quite different problem from that which Mike is experiencing. Can I ask you to post a new thread of your own for this?
@Mike: that’s unfortunate – certainly the assets you listed were ones that shipped with the older branch of The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO and are no longer in use. I’m not sure why there would be any lingering references to them, though, unless perhaps you have custom code that explicitly tries to enqueue them or else you have caching in place.
I did just visit your site though and it looks like the current CSS/JS files are being correctly loaded, without any trace of the older ones. Can you confirm if this is still a problem for you and, if so, provide a URL that will take me to a location where I can observe it?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi @Barry
Unfortunately this is not resolved, in fact it appears to be worse. Maybe it was cached before. The calendar is now no longer displaying at all. http://www.gosfordnetball.com.au/calendar
And the sidebar widget is not showing any month selectors.

MemberWe’ll help if we can ๐
Just to be clear, though, that is really a completely different problem than what you initially reported. It looks like your theme is trying to transform the main events view into an excerpt – which results in it A) being shortened and B) all mark-up that gives it structure being stripped out.
This is a known issue with a few themes/theme frameworks and over on the right in the Useful Code Snippets list we’ve got a solution for just this problem – Fixing a Garbled Main Events Page. The focus of that solution is on Canvas (by WooThemes) and Genesis (by StudioPress) – the actual solution may be different in your case if you are using a different theme produced by some other vendor, but take a look and see if that helps ๐
And the sidebar widget is not showing any month selectors.
Upon update from earlier versions to the current version you may find the calendar widget is replaced with the regular WordPress calendar widget (which is the widget I see in your sidebar) so this could be as simple as making a change in the Appearanceย โ Widgets admin screen – if that doesn’t solve this though can I ask you to break this particular issue out into a separate thread?
Thanks – I’m sure we can get things on track here – let me know how it goes with the garbled events page fix ๐

MemberThis thread’s not seen much activity recently so I’ll go ahead and close it. Of course if you still need help with this or any other issue please don’t hesitate to create a new thread (or threads) and one of the team will be only too happy to help. Thanks!
