MemberExcellent!

MemberI get the sorting piece, but looking for the sort order to stay by default when I go to that admin event list. In our case we have a weekly recurring event that never expires, so we have several entries.
Right now there are no options to facilitate that, but please do post a feature request as we’d happily consider this.
On another note… is there a way to put a countdown to a recurring event for a “single” category. Right now I am able to get a countdown for all upcoming events, but not a single category…?
I’m not quite sure what you mean – but could you post this in a separate thread as we do try hard to stick to one issue per thread.
Thanks!

MemberThere are a few avenues there – you could probably target it with CSS (and perhaps could wrap it in an additional div to help make it easy to specifically target this use case) – we’d need to leave that up to you, though.
Good luck 🙂

MemberOh I see – well that shouldn’t be too hard – but you would need to be at home working with and customizing templates.
In this case, our Themer’s Guide would be the best starting point and from there you would need to make appropriate changes to your custom wootickets/tickets.php so as to generate an HTML select element in place of multiple table rows.
I hope that helps 🙂

MemberHi Stephen – for that second issue it would be great if you could post a new thread 🙂
Regarding the formatting of the event description, please check out our Themer’s Guide for an overview of setting up template overrides. With that done, make a custom copy of the eddtickets/tickets.php template and find this line:
echo $ticket->description;Try changing it to:
echo apply_filters( 'the_content', $ticket->description );Does that help here?

MemberThat’s possible – especially if you are using a commercial theme where automated updates are going to take place – but in that case you can always work from within a child theme. Does that help?

MemberI’m not sure it is, Daniella – but do you mean Story Time for Babies and Toddlers or a different story time? If you could create a new thread though that would certainly be appreciated. I’m also seeing another strange effect when I hover over events in month view: I wonder if when you post the new thread you could also share a download link so we could take a look at your theme, just in case there is something we might be able to do differently there?
Thanks!
Alicia: did my first reply make sense from your perspective?

MemberAwesome 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this – but please don’t hesitate to create new threads if there is anything else we can help with.

MemberWe’re definitely open to any and all feature requests if you’d like to post one and yes, three’s no reason that you wouldn’t be able to simply insert a link to a given category from within a page or post, for example.
I hope that helps 🙂
