    Hi there!

    Thanks for the question.

    In essence, we simply use a core WordPress facility to generate that list and , sadly for your purposes, there are no hooks I can see with which to readily modify it.

    However, there are still a number of ways to get the end result you are seeking and in this case I think a Javascript based solution that whittles down the list would make the most sense.

    We can’t write that for you, I’m afraid, but what I will do is make a note to add a filter to help make this sort of customization easier in the future 🙂

    Hi Meg,

    I’d love to explore this some more with you as different users have different needs and requirements. Let’s start with a situation like this one:

    • I have a ticket with a stock of 100
    • 10 units are sold (taking my availability down to 90 units)
    • 5 attendees are deleted (freeing up 5 spaces)

    After that, I see 10 Sold (95 Remaining) in both the event editor and the attendee screen. In the latter it also clearly shows me some extra text to give added context &mdash Deleted Attendees: 5.

    All this seems accurate to me: 10 tickets were sold and in terms of availability, we see the correct value of 95 units remaining.

    It sounds like this is in line with what you are experiencing, but I’d love to hear more on why altering the sales total would make sense for you (as a sidenote, we pull this from WooCommerce itself and in general we are reluctant to modify things in a way that would cause a confusing discrepancy between the figures that WooCommerce maintains and those we expose on our side).

    Is it the case that you simply want a balance of active tickets issued versus tickets available?

    Hi Alan,

    I’m sorry (and surprised!) to hear that.

    The fragment you shared points a finger at our geolocation query, which is used to figure out the appropriate ‘bounding box’ for map view (so that the map is zoomed in to the relevant part of the world).

    This should only run within map view – so your note that it takes down your site as soon as Events Calendar PRO is activated is rather alarming. Did you mean that quite literally – ie, the very instant you activate it things crash?

    Who is your host and what sort of hosting package are you currently using (if you prefer not to disclose this publicly, please make use of our private reply facility).

    “tribe_events”,”14282″

    That is not a small number of events … are there any that you could potentially delete (old events that are no longer relevant to your users, for instance)?

    Well, we don’t generally provide technical support here in the pre-sales forums so options include:

    • Posting on the APM forums for help from the user community (as is the case here, the team will be very limited in terms of how much in depth technical assistance they can offer but other members of the community may be able to pitch in and help) … this is a good option especially if you’ll be doing the work yourself – but please do spend time reading the existing APM docs before posting and be aware that getting assistance this way may not be timely
    • Seeking help from a suitably skilled developer/designer — we have a list of people and businesses who may be able to help over here (but we are not affiliated with any of them and there are plenty of other ways to source help besides those)

    Hey there Randyl Errica,

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against difficulties.

    The error you cited makes me think that either you are not using the latest version of your plugins or, perhaps more likely, you (or someone working on your behalf) has customized the file referenced in that error message.

    Are either of those possible here?

    It’s worth highlighting that – except in very unusual situations – editing core plugin files is to be avoided. Instead, you should make any amendments from a template override … this is far safer and there is a great guide to this at the following URL:

    theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide

    What I suspect is that you followed a forum post or knowledgebase article describing a way of changing the ticket form and, if so, it may that that guide was out-of-date or perhaps one or two steps were missed when you made the changes.

    I hope that helps and let me know if I can provide any more assistance with this 🙂

    Hi Don,

    It is indeed customizable!

    Advanced Post Manager is probably best viewed as a toolkit you can use to add extra filters and control over table columns for almost any post type — in the case of our Events Calendar PRO plugin, it just so happens that integration with APM is “baked in”.

    If you want to build on that further – or even integrate with APM without using Events Calendar PRO, that is certainly possible.

    Guiding you through that process though involves some custom development work and I’m afraid that’s beyond the scope of support we offer here (but it’s certainly possible!).

    I hope that answers your question and good luck with the project – let me know if I can answer anything else or provide any more clarity on this 🙂

    Thank you!

    I have shared that feedback with the team so they can make any adjustments required before the official launch.

    ¡Gracias!

    He compartido esa retroalimentaciĂłn con el equipo para que puedan hacer cualquier ajuste necesario antes del lanzamiento oficial.

    Hi there Corey,

    Please note the amount of support we can offer with things like custom styling does tend to be limited, but I’d be happy to explore a few options with you 🙂

    #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-schedule > h2 {
        display: block;
    }

    How about adding the above CSS to your theme, via the Appearance ‣ Customize ‣ Additional CSS option in the admin environment (or any other means of adding custom CSS you might prefer)?

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Please note we can’t provide in-depth support for customizations like this one, but I’d be happy to bat a few ideas around and even point you in the right direction if I can 🙂

    In this case, how about keeping your snippet “as is” but add the following line to the bottom:

    add_action( 'tribe_events_pro_tribe_events_shortcode_post_render', 'dequeue_tribe_styles' );

    Might that help with this?

    Hi there, Frances.

    I’m sorry it took so long for us to see your question.

    At this point, it looks like you already purchased not just Events Calendar PRO but also Community Events — I’ll share a coupon with you though in case you want to complete the process and buy some of the other plugins you noted.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Joakim,

    Thanks for considering Event Aggregator 🙂

    Import of videos is not something that’s directly supported, however if for example an event description included a link to a video, then that would also be pulled in during import along with the rest of the description.

    What sort of event sources are you working with, out of interest – Facebook, Meetup, something else?

    Thanks!

    I wonder how many thousands of people have received notices and ended up duplicating their licenses without knowing they were throwing money away. Really like the program, but this glitch in your registration process needs to be fixed.

    We’re reviewing this and will see what we can – we really appreciate the feedback. In the meantime, I’ve deleted the expired license key associated with your account to avoid any confusion in the future.

    Sure, we don’t use it any longer since it’s been discontinued, just need ECP and Event agg current licenses. Thanks!

    Done!

    Hi Mitchell,

    I’m sorry to hear that didn’t work for you. That being the case, though, let’s strip out that code (if you haven’t already done so).

    The problem here is we don’t see this problem ourselves despite our best efforts to replicate: it’s also not something where we’re seeing lots of similar reports from other users … that does tend to indicate that – for some reason – the problem is specific to your site.

    How about this: can you build a testing/staging site? Lots of web hosts make this a snap – even if they don’t provide dedicated staging facilities you can usually install a fresh copy of WordPress in a sub-directory – ie example.com/test-site/ – in a matter of minutes.

    With that done, install The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and nothing else. Create a few test events and take a peek at week view — do you see the same problem as you do in your live site? If you do, please pause and let us know, providing a link to the staging site.

    On the other hand, if you don’t see the problem and everything works as expected that would bear out that the problem is specific to your existing live site: to find the source of the conflict, you can simply start incrementally adding the same plugins and ultimately the same theme and see which of those components trigger the problem.

    I appreciate this may seem similar to the steps we already recommended, but we’ve found in the past that this is an effective alternative way of ensuring other customizations and plugins/theme code are not interfering and that we’re not left with ‘corrupted’ data (since, even if you switch to a default theme and deactivate other plugins on your live site, it’s sometimes possible that the “damage” has already been done to your events).

    Let me know if this is possible — thanks!
