MemberFantastic, I’m glad that helped 🙂
In that case I’ll close out this topic – but if we can assist with anything else please don’t hesitate to create new topics as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Thanks again!

MemberIt’s best to read through our Themer’s Guide if you haven’t already done so – this covers many of the basic steps required to safely customize event-related templates 🙂
With that done, and assuming you are using the Default Events Template (you can check/change this via the Events → Settings → Display screen), you could simply remove the calls to get_header() and get_footer() respectively.
If you are using a differet template setting then the process would likely be similar, but without being familiar with your theme it is hard to provide precise steps.
Does that help?

MemberHi Joe,
I’m afraid we do not provide custom development services.
If you don’t feel comfortable switching theme that’s fine – I’m pretty confident the layout and so on is the result of Enfold which is specifically targetting The Events Calendar in this instance.
Instead of going through the theme vendor’s support channels, one thing you could try is following the steps described in the following knowledgebase post:
theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-eventbrite-tickets-box
This should allow you to relocate the ticket box – hopefully to a position that affords it more space 🙂
If that doesn’t work though, it probably would be best to approach the theme author, simply because it’s hard for us to know exactly what changes they have made and they are after all responsible for them.
Let me know if that helps!

MemberHi Josiah,
Interesting question!
Essentially you would follow the same tutorial, but within the snippets you use simply exclude those lines beginning with
remove_action… does that work for you?Barry
MemberHi Craig,
Thanks for your interest 🙂
That’s a really great question. All of our plugins basically build on the foundation laid by The Events Calendar (our free, core plugin) and that is really the only depedency any of our remaining plugins have.
So, as long as The Events Calendar is installed and activated you can add pretty much any combination of our other plugins on top – whether that’s Community Events along with Filter Bar, or Events Calendar PRO, or some other combination.
Neither Filter Bar or Community Events depend on Events Calendar PRO, however (though Community Events for instance allows you to work with recurring events if you do install PRO).
I hope that’s clear, but let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks!

MemberHi there Joe,
Your single event pages seem to have been modified slightly/are styled somewhat differently way from the defaults (see this example which shows the meta area being given much more space) and ordinarily things in that area would not be so compressed.
Unless you have implemented customizations of your own, though it doesn’t sound like it, my guess would be that your theme – Enfold – ships with its own customizations for our templates which are responsible for the cramped conditions you’ve highlighted in respect of the ticket form in particular.
To bear this out you could quickly switch to a default theme such as Twenty Fifteen/Fourteen and see if the problem is resolved.
If it is indeed the result of your theme’s custom event layouts, it might be better to approach the theme vendor for further assistance with this issue.
Let me know how you get on 🙂

MemberHi Jay,
Thanks for your interest 🙂
Does the premium version offer the ability to schedule events without specifying an end time?
This is actually possible with our free, core plugin – and yes, Events Calendar PRO follows suit.
Also, some events do not have a listed organizer. Does the premium product offer the ability to disable the organizer info?
Again, there’s no particular difference between the core and pro releases in this regard: if no organizer is specified, neither try to display organizer details.
I hope that answers your questions 🙂

MemberHi Dave,
It’s not impossible that there is a theme problem – especially if you are using an up-to-date copy of WooCommerce.
For our own part, we don’t directly generate the quantity input. Instead we rely on WooCommerce for this and, as of their 2.3.0 release, they decided to stop generating the up/down arrows and instead leave this part of the user interface to individual browsers.
If the problem is resolved when you change theme it does seem likely that it is your theme which is the culprit. Are you positive it is up to date and have you had a chance to chat with the theme author about this?

MemberHi mediawire,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against this – we’re actually aware of it and a bug report has already been filed, so hopefully a substantive fix will arrive in the near future 🙂
In the meantime, could you try adding the following snippet to a suitable location (your theme’s functions.php file should work):

Let me know if that helps.

MemberHi Alonso,
I’m not quite sure which images you mean, can you clarify (is this in relation to the related events section on single event pages rather than categories)?
if you could provide a specific URL to an example of the problem – by private reply, if you prefer – that would be awesome 🙂
Barry
MemberFantastic that the issue has cleared up – really odd that it was a conflict with WP ECommerce … if it does crop up again, please let us know!
(In the meantime though since it sounds like we’re all good I will go ahead and close this topic — thanks again!)
