ParticipantI have an issue with the information getting all confined within a small area on the page and need to be able to resize this to show all the information. Here’s an example: http://collinssafety.ca/event/responsibilities-and-due-diligence
The are I’m concerned about is on the left side at the bottom “Ticket Information” It’s quite obvious that this needs more room but how can I edit this. Please note: not very experienced at all with coding so I hope this is a simple fix.
Thanks for you help!

MemberHi there Joe,
Your single event pages seem to have been modified slightly/are styled somewhat differently way from the defaults (see this example which shows the meta area being given much more space) and ordinarily things in that area would not be so compressed.
Unless you have implemented customizations of your own, though it doesn’t sound like it, my guess would be that your theme – Enfold – ships with its own customizations for our templates which are responsible for the cramped conditions you’ve highlighted in respect of the ticket form in particular.
To bear this out you could quickly switch to a default theme such as Twenty Fifteen/Fourteen and see if the problem is resolved.
If it is indeed the result of your theme’s custom event layouts, it might be better to approach the theme vendor for further assistance with this issue.
Let me know how you get on 🙂

ParticipantHi Barry,
To tell the truth I’m really nervous about switching themes just to test it as we have had some serious issues in the past which were just recently fixed. That said, I really don’t want to try that.
If I could gain access to the particular page I could just adjust things accordingly. However, it doesn’t seem there is any way of doing that. I know support at Enfold is not that great so not sure where to go from here.
Do you guys provide development services that would/could fix this?
Thanks

MemberHi Joe,
I’m afraid we do not provide custom development services.
If you don’t feel comfortable switching theme that’s fine – I’m pretty confident the layout and so on is the result of Enfold which is specifically targetting The Events Calendar in this instance.
Instead of going through the theme vendor’s support channels, one thing you could try is following the steps described in the following knowledgebase post:
theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-eventbrite-tickets-box
This should allow you to relocate the ticket box – hopefully to a position that affords it more space 🙂
If that doesn’t work though, it probably would be best to approach the theme author, simply because it’s hard for us to know exactly what changes they have made and they are after all responsible for them.
Let me know if that helps!

MemberFantastic, I’m glad that helped 🙂
In that case I’ll close out this topic – but if we can assist with anything else please don’t hesitate to create new topics as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Thanks again!
