GuestDoes the Filter Bar add on work with the Community Calendar add-on… Or does the Filter Bar only work with Pro? Do all three work together?

MemberHi Craig,
Thanks for your interest 🙂
That’s a really great question. All of our plugins basically build on the foundation laid by The Events Calendar (our free, core plugin) and that is really the only depedency any of our remaining plugins have.
So, as long as The Events Calendar is installed and activated you can add pretty much any combination of our other plugins on top – whether that’s Community Events along with Filter Bar, or Events Calendar PRO, or some other combination.
Neither Filter Bar or Community Events depend on Events Calendar PRO, however (though Community Events for instance allows you to work with recurring events if you do install PRO).
I hope that’s clear, but let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks!

GuestSo just to double check… The filter Bar will work with the community calendar, and still filter all events (even events added by outside users) as it should?
The main reason I ask is the language on your Filter Bar web page (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/) reads…
“Our Filter Bar add-on, which works with both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, adds a configurable set of filters to your event pages.”
It does not mention the Filter Bar add-on working with Community Calendar add-on. Just a suggestion, if the Filter Bar does work with the Community Calendar add-on, you might want to list that on this page as well.
Thank You,
Craig

That’s exactly right 🙂

We’ll certainly have a think about making that clearer – thanks for highlighting this.
