MemberHi Caroline,
I’m sorry you’ve bumped up against some difficulties here. That’s pretty puzzling and I am unsure what might have caused this.
Sometimes it appears as if the same event has been imported but in fact they are distinct entities on Facebook with subtle differences like different owners … that said, judging by the Facebook IDs I see on the pages you linked to, that doesn’t appear to be the case here.
Ordinarily our plugin will run some queries to determine if an event has already been imported – should other plugins interfere with this process (some target and modify queries from other plugins), however, then it may have failed to detect that the events were already present.
I’m wondering two things at this point:
- Is this a general problem that is occurring frequently, or has it only ever cropped up in relation to this particular event?
- Might you have a test site where you can try this again (but without any plugins other than our own and only a default theme running) just to try and iron out the possibility of a conflict?
Thanks!

MemberHi!
There is no hard limit that I’m aware of and by default the number of markers should correspond to the number of events listed on the same page, underneath the map.
Of course, if some take place at the same venue it may appear that there are fewer markers. Might that explain things/are you finding something other than this is happening on your site?

MemberHi Luciane,
Once again, we try hard to stick to one question per topic and you’re asking about lots of different things here! If you need further help with translations please do post in the translations forum and someone will be happy to help with that issue.
Another doubt I don´t know what is &rarr? If you could tell where are the files, I could try to change the country and states.
Did you see “&rarr” in the notification email when I last updated the topic? If so it may just have been bad formatting in the email, please see my actual response above instead (which was that you can make adjustments to the list of default countries in our settings screen).
Alternatively, try overriding this section from the modules/venue.php template (if you want to replace the list of US states with regions from another country:

We would not recommend that you edit core plugin code, however, and there isn’t really any need to do so here 🙂

MemberJordan:
On looking at your database, I see many entries have the event start date formatted something like this:
2015-11-21 09:30 amInstead, dates should be stored using a standard yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss format (or Y-m-d H:i:s if we use PHP’s usual notation):
2015-11-21 09:30:00I’m going to guess you imported the data by some custom means, or using something other than our own CSV importer (but do let me know if that is incorrect!) and to correct the problem you would ultimately need to find and modify those entries from the post meta table.
Does that help?
Barry
MemberThanks!
Just so I’m sure, when you say “a CSV import tool” do you mean our CSV importer or a third party tool?

MemberHi!
I don’t see any way to upload a screenshot
You’re right, you can’t upload screenshots as such – apologies for not being clearer on that point – but if you upload them to your own WordPress site, or to a service like Dropbox, you can then share the URLs here.
I have no wootickets directory. I searched my entire site structure for tickets.php. I don’t have one.
That’s odd, because if I navigate to:
http://thebirthinginn.info/wp-content/plugins/wootickets/readme.txt
I then see the readme file included with the WooCommerce Tickets plugin. That URL is reflective of the actual filepath – you can see how wootickets is nested under the main plugins directory.
Does your problem relate to a different site and can you clarify the URL if so? If the URL is correct is it possible you are looking in the wrong place?
I do for instance note that the domain you shared when you opened this topic and the domain in the opening post itself are slightly different – so perhaps some confusion has arisen? WooCommerce Tickets and the wootickets plugin directory are accessible in either case, albeit slightly different versions, but I thought I’d double check.
The license key you received when completing your purchase from http://tri.be/ will grant you access to support and updates until it expires…
So I’m not sure why you included the license information, but if you are experiencing difficulties when trying to register your site through the license settings screen – or have any other license related questions – please do create a new topic and one of the team will be happy to offer whatever guidance they can.
(We do have a policy of sticking to one question/issue per topic, though, which is why I’m asking that you create a new topic if needed – this helps us to deliver fair service to all our customers, besides keeping individual topics on track.)
Thanks again!
Barry
MemberIt’s possible. Unfortunately I cannot replicate this issue, though – which is why I was keen for you to do some more troubleshooting.
I wonder, would it be possible for you to supply a database dump from your test site? While you cannot upload files to the forum directly if you were happy to and could upload it to your own WP site (or a service like Dropbox) and then share the link in a private reply that could be useful (it needn’t be your “real” data, either – so long as it is something you can replicate the issue with) 🙂
Finally, can you confirm how you imported the event data – was it with our own CSV import tool?
Barry
MemberYes, I read your original post 🙂
It’s not so uncommon for users to look in the wrong plugin directory, however, and so by linking you to more complete instructions I hoped it might steer you in the correct direction.
Though it’s tricky to be absolutely sure given we don’t have unrestricted access to your website/server, on inspecting your site I see every indication that tickets.php is actually present and can be found in the expected location.
To clarify once more, you should look within the plugins/wootickets directory. That ought to contain a number of subdirectories and the path you are interested in should be as follows:
wp-content/plugins/wootickets/views/wootickets/tickets.phpIf you are looking anywhere else, such as plugins/the-events-calendar, then you will not locate the correct template.
If you are absolutely certain this file is missing perhaps you could include a few screenshots showing me what you are seeing via your FTP client/hosting control panel?
Thanks!

MemberHi Chris,
Please do check out our Themer’s Guide and knowledgebase.
For more specific technical support you would be required to purchase a license and post on our pro forum (though you can of course post at any time on our community forum – just be aware the level of officially provided support is lower in that particular forum).
Thanks!

MemberHi Luciane,
I’d like to delete:
-Saved Local
-Saved OrganizerSo you’ll be interested in the modules/venue.php and modules/organizer.php templates here – the function calls you need to remove respectively are:
- tribe_community_events_venue_select_menu()
- tribe_community_events_organizer_select_menu()
I’d like to translate:
– “Organizer Name” to “Nome do Organizador”
– “Currency Symbol” to “Moeda”
– “Cost” to “Preço”The best way to do this is configure your WordPress site to operate in the appropriate language – and if you find any translations are missing simply post on our translations forum to share the corrections/additions.
The WordPress Codex contains a lot of resources about translation which are useful when translating plugins like our own, too.
I’d like to change:
– Brazil as a default country
– The list of StatesYou can set a default country via the Events → Settings → Default Content screen. To build a custom list of states you would need to “roll your own” 🙂
Barry
MemberThanks for making the purchase 🙂
Does the following knowledgebase article help, or is there anything it doesn’t cover that you need to know for this task?

Barry
MemberNo problem!
Barry
MemberIf you visit Events → Settings → Display you should see an option marked hide location search – is it possible this has been enabled and – if so – does deactivating it solve the problem?
