MemberCan you copy the contents of that file (themes/nsbc/events/table.php) to a service like Pastebin so we can take a peak?
It may be that you need to copy the table.php file from plugins/the-events-calendar/views and place that in your theme’s events sub-directory, taking care to ensure any customizations are replicated in the new version of the file.

MemberCan you try deactivating both plugins – The Events Calendar as well as Events Calendar PRO, then double check that both are showing as version 2.0.9 on the plugin admin page – then try activating one more time.
If that doesn’t work it may be worth downloading fresh copies of both plugins, deleting the existing ones and then uploading the new ones using an FTP client (just in case for any reason files from the old versions are still in place).
Please do take the time to back everything up first of all!

MemberHi Michael. If you edit an event you should find the Featured Image meta box toward the bottom of the boxes on the right hand side. The normal or default sequence is something like:
# Publish meta box
# Event categories
# Event options
# Featured imageOnce you’ve uploaded an image (or have chosen an existing image from the media library or gallery) be sure to click the Use as Featured Image link and click on the Update button to save the change.

MemberHey Camilo – did my last post help you out (or do you need any further assistance here)?

Member… Are you also able to share a link to the website?

MemberHi Graeme.
I’m not sure why you would have lost all your customizations unless you edited files in the plugin directory itself, which is something of a no-no. The general idea is to restrict changes so that they are either contained within an “events” directory within your theme or possibly even are housed within their own plugins.
I cant seem to lose this rogue thumbnail from appearing. Here are a couple of screen shots to show you.
I’m not too sure … it does rather looks as though the thumbnails are above any Events Calendar output: if you try (temporarily) switching theme back to the stock Twenty Eleven theme supplied with WordPress does that remedy the problem?
It would be helpful to isolate where this is creeping in from.

MemberHmm, I suspect it could be a conflict with the theme. I can’t even bring up a month view:
http://www.genesischurchtx.com/eventscalendar/2012-10/
I would expect to see the calendar or gridview when I visit the above URL but that doesn’t seem to be happening … and you say it works with the default Twenty Eleven theme?

MemberHi Pauline,
I’m really sorry to hear they aren’t willing to help out here.
Unfortunately there is not a lot I can do here either – it seems to me the problem is the direct result of two different version of jQuery UI being loaded. What I’d note here is that The Events Calendar uses the version that ships with and is used by WordPress itself … so I really do see this as something that the theme vendor would need to resolve, since their code is introducing the additional, conflicting library.
I know it’s not a great deal of help to you to have each of us pointing our fingers at the other vendor, but I wanted to give some sort of rationale to help explain my decision here.
Unfortunately I can’t help with your custom workaround either; it sounds like perhaps a syntax error is occurring but again it is out of the scope of support here on the Pro forum to troubleshoot custom scripts like this one.

MemberOK, so this time you would need to edit the single.php template – just like ecp-page-template.php this should initially be copied from The Events Calendar’s views directory and placed in your theme’s events directory, if you haven’t already done this.
What you will need to do is change some code at the bottom of this template – here is an example: http://pastebin.com/ikrMbrqj (you probably don’t want to copy and paste this template as is but you can use it as a guide) – if you open it in a text editor and search for “Previous Event:” you will see the amendment.

MemberCan you provide a link for me to look at? I’m not sure how it is possible for there to be no space unless another piece of code is filtering this.
Barry
MemberThe corresponding .mo file needs to be changed too, and you would need a tool like poedit for that … I’m afraid this is really outside of the scope of support we can offer here – there are excellent overviews of this stuff in the WordPress Codex and elsewhere online however.

MemberHi Mike, I’m guessing that you don’t need further help here since quite some time has passed by since you last posted. If you do need additional assistance please feel free to create a new thread.

MemberJust checking in to see if you need any further help here – did you get to the root of the problem or is it still an issue?
