ParticipantHi, could you please urgently assist?
I have just installed the updates you have just released and noticed a few problems immediately. Firstly I lost all of my customisations which is wonderful. Secondly I was using the advanced events calendar widget which pre-update was nicely showing my event start times. Now it showing both the start and finish times even though finish times box is not ticked in the widget. How do I make these disappear now please?September 12, 2012 at 8:20 am #24914Graeme
ParticipantIts also deleted some of my event listings, and placing a thumbnail image above the calendar view now too.

ParticipantWould anyone be able to log in to take a look at this please? The site was due to go live in 48 hours 🙁

ParticipantI’ve now unchecked the time being displayed in the events widget but both times are still being displayed.

ParticipantGuys,
I cant seem to lose this rogue thumbnail from appearing. Here are a couple of screen shots to show you. Each Events Calendar page now has this thumbnail appearing above the plugins intended content. Do you have any ideas what could be causing this please?September 12, 2012 at 2:35 pm #24944Barry
MemberHi Graeme.
I’m not sure why you would have lost all your customizations unless you edited files in the plugin directory itself, which is something of a no-no. The general idea is to restrict changes so that they are either contained within an “events” directory within your theme or possibly even are housed within their own plugins.

I’m not too sure … it does rather looks as though the thumbnails are above any Events Calendar output: if you try (temporarily) switching theme back to the stock Twenty Eleven theme supplied with WordPress does that remedy the problem?
It would be helpful to isolate where this is creeping in from.

ParticipantHi there,
I’m having the (one of the) same problem(s) after updating – both start and end dates are showing in a sidebar widget, even though the widget is set to show ONLY the start date….worked fine til this update. See right sidebar of the home page here:

I’d include a screenshot of the sidebar widget settings, but – don’t see a way to attach images. I tried showing ONLY the end date and get the same result – both start and end date appear. Please advise? Thanks!

I’m sorry your post slipped through the cracks. Are you still having trouble with this?
