MemberNo problem, wish I could do more – but thank you for your continued support and patience.

MemberInteresting, it did seem as if I was able to replicate this initially after activating your theme and creating some new recurring events – then I could see that for those events only the generated permalinks were missing the dates.
That said, after deleting all events and starting again the problem didn’t manifest itself again. So I can’t be certain about this as I could replicate consistently.
What I’ll have to do here is invite one of the devs to work with you since I’m out of avenues to explore here – stay tuned and I or a colleague will get back to you soon.
Barry
MemberYes – that’s pretty much the current situation.

MemberHi Robin,
So I chatted to fellow team members about this and by the sounds of it we’re going to have to wait until 3.0 is released for a solid fix here.
If you are confident in working with Javascript you could also try out the possible patch I posted earlier in the same thread I referenced previously (taking care to back up the original code first of all).
I’m sorry we can’t offer more on this occasion.
Barry
MemberExcellent, glad you got this sorted – and thanks for feeding back with the tip about WP-Memory-Usage 🙂
Barry
MemberHi Robin – have you updated to the latest and greatest releases (2.0.10)?
Barry
MemberSo perhaps this is because the “product page” in the case of WooTickets is actually the events page (you aren’t seeing the “true” WooCommerce product page) this functionality doesn’t come through. Does that sound about right?
I would need to check in with the devs to clarify this one, but I suspect the answer may again lie in template overrides – whatever markup is used within the WooCommerce product template to display this may need to be pulled into your tickets.php template.
Does that broadly make sense to you?
Barry
MemberRegarding the first request – great idea and I will add this to the list of possible changes/new features.
Regarding the second request – again, great idea. That absolutely makes sense. Once again I will make a note.
Unfortunately I can’t say that, yes, these will definitely be implemented (or if they will how quickly it might happen) as the second idea in particular may be more involved, however they are definitely solid in concept.
Thanks for getting in touch and trying out WooTickets 🙂
Barry
MemberGood point Tony – I’ll add that to our bucket list for possible new features.
Currently the only way I can see for you to achieve this is by making use of a template override and adding some logic to your custom tickets.php template to reorder the $tickets array.
I totally appreciate that isn’t necessarily going to be ideal though, and will make a note of this idea.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberThat’s a real shame and we’re sorry to hear that you can’t use The Events Calendar (or PRO) as a consequence of this.
All I can add is to be mindful of this issue going forward, as it is far from impossible that your theme’s design (in particular, its use of a much older copy of jQuery than ships with WordPress) may also compromise the functionality of other plugins.
Sorry we can’t do more to help here.
Barry
MemberHi Riccardo, I’m not quite following you. Deleting completed or even pending orders should not affect whether tickets are listed for sale or not (with the possible exception of inventory control issues).
Can you give a point-by-point example of what you are experiencing to help me understand?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHey Tony, so this sort of thing is really a question you’d be better off posing to the good people at WooThemes.
In short however, my understanding is that the default PayPal gateway that ships with WooCommerce relies on something called IPN – Instant Payment Notification.
Despite the name this is not necessarily instant and at peak times (from PayPal’s perspective) there may be a time lag. Connectivity issues can also present an impediment.
With all that said, this is really something to pose to Woo as it is their plugin that handles interaction with PayPal 🙂

MemberHi Roberto: I’m inclined to close this thread now as I think we’re all good here – but let me know this week if you disagree and we can revisit any topics that might be sticking points.
Barry
MemberOK – and when you say it is supposed to be 32M is that what your host has told you? If so, you may wish to try increasing this to 64M. Once again, please clarify the process for doing this with your host. Some methods you will find on various websites will not work, depending on how your hosting environment is configured, but neither will they give you any indication of not working.
Thanks also for taking the time to post that log. I think that is your access log, whereas I was interested in your error log – access to the error log isn’t always readily available but here again is something to ask your host.
Thanks!
