MemberHi Kirks,
I know you indicated that you have run through a number of troubleshooting steps already, but, leaving your Karma theme in place can you try deactivating other plugins to see if one of those are impacting here?
Cheers,
Barry
Barry
MemberIt’s not something I can replicate locally. Are you certain that your other plugins/your theme is not impacting here?
Barry
MemberHi Simon, sorry about that. Hopefully it will be included in the next release – I’ll add a note to the issue tracker to help ensure that this isn’t missed.

MemberThat button will not appear again after its first use … can you confirm if you haven’t seen or used it at all, or if you have used the tool already?

MemberYes, you could – but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are absolutely confident that you know what you are doing and neither will we be able to help you if something catastrophic happens.

MemberIt’s not something I’ve seen any other reports of.
This essentially means the buyer gets free additional tickets on top of those he purchased, and obviously that is a no go.
Are these extra tickets duplicates or are they new tickets with their own unique ticket numbers and verification codes?

MemberHi marcjulia,
To avoid any confusion in case Christopher posts back here (since he is at a different stage in the troubleshooting process) can I ask you to create your own thread if you need help with this?
Thanks!

MemberHi all. We’re taking another look at this problem, so, if anyone is still seeing this error:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /…/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1039
And you are happy to help out here, it would be massively appreciated if you could provide us with a database dump – this will improve our chances of replicating (and, hopefully, fixing) this problem.
The devs and designers amongst you will probably know how to do this, but for anyone who wants to help and is unsure how to create a database dump please check in with your hosting provider – often you will have access to a tool called phpMyAdmin (generally via your hosting control panel) and if you can login here you will find an Export tab that lets you basically create and download a copy of your database.
If you could then send it to us at [email protected] – including a reference to this thread – we will see if we can use it to make some further progress here.

MemberWhat I’d suggest is contacting the author of that plugin about this. The problem seems to stem from the following line of code (mstw-game-schedule.php line 98):
date_default_timezone_set('America/Los_Angeles');In the short term I do believe you could simply comment it out (ie, prefix that line with a double dash // or hash symbol #) and you will then be able to keep both plugins running side by side.
Longer term you may not want to keep patching that file every time there is an update (unless there are not going to be any future updates) so you may wish to touch base with the author and see if they can come up with an alternative to hard-coding the timezone in there.

MemberEugen,
We’ve currently got 2 threads open – that’s not a problem because they both concern slightly different issues.
But since we are also addressing the appearance of the calendar in this thread, let’s confine ourselves to updating that one for the time being to avoid any confusion.
Barry
MemberOK, so your initial problem was that the calendar (month) view wouldn’t show up:
I would like to have the possibility to have the events display in Calendar format. However, when I choose that, NOTHING is displayed.
If that is resolved – or you’ve confirmed that another plugin rather than your theme is causing the problem – then we can get cracking with your theme.
So that means that from the get go, the Events Calendar does not fit perfectly with the theme. I would say that that should be our starting point.
OK, so can you send across your theme so I can take a look ([email protected], marking your email for my attention and linking to this thread)? Thanks!

MemberWhat’s the plugin?
Barry
MemberYou’ll probably find examples of different approaches to this or similar problems scattered throughout the forum, but there aren’t any shortcodes built-in or anything like that.
If you’re comfortable with WordPress development generally you might want to investigate using tribe_get_events() (which is effectively a wrapper around WP_Query) and build up from there.
Barry
MemberAaron, our fault for not highlighting this (though you may have found and tried it already) but please visit Events > Settings > General > Duplicate Venues & Organizers and click on Merge Duplicates … this should perform some clean up work that hopefully will alleviate this problem.
If it continues, our developer has suggested you may need to delete any pre-existing venues already on eventbrite.com itself – however after that it should, hopefully, be plain sailing.
