MemberEvents Calendar PRO is definitely activated?
January 8, 2013 at 2:32 pm #30462Duncan
ParticipantYup, definitely. If you want backend access or anything let me know.
I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Any ideas?January 8, 2013 at 2:37 pm #30463Barry
MemberYep if you don’t mind me poking around it would be great if you could send access details to us at [email protected], marking the email for my attention and referencing this thread.
Before you do so, please:
- Backup!
- Ensure you know how to restore that backup
- Be aware that some amount of disruption may occur while we troubleshoot
- Understand that neither Modern Tribe or I are responsible for any problems that result
If I can’t see anything obvious then I will ask for assistance from a member of the dev team (who may then contact you directly).

MemberSo … to save time, because I wasn’t sure which events had been assigned to venues, I went ahead and edited this event:
http://www.flat-out.eu/event/trackscotland-trackday-2/
And I assigned this venue:
http://www.flat-out.eu/venue/fintray/
You can see that if you view the above single event page there is a link to the venue page, so I’m not sure I can see the actual problem here? If you can confirm that everything is operating as expected, the next step would be to reactivate any other plugins and your chosen theme.

ParticipantHowdy Barry, I’m not too sure either, maybe disabling everything did the trick but it just took it’s time to work?
I’m honestly stumped?
January 9, 2013 at 12:02 pm #30514Barry
MemberYeah sometimes taking things back to a “plain vanilla” state and reactivating everything is all that’s required. There can be a lot of moving parts in a typical WordPress site so it can be hard to pin down the root cause.
Anyway, we’ll keep this open for a few more days so just post back if the problem re-occurs.
January 9, 2013 at 12:05 pm #30515Duncan
ParticipantYea keep it open for a couple of days and I’ll keep an eye on it as I’m activating the plugins and setting everything up again..
Thanks Barry. πJanuary 11, 2013 at 5:34 am #30621Duncan
ParticipantHey Barry, right ok firstly this problem has not returned….yaaayyyy π
Secondly another has crept up.. π
I’m not getting an error home/flatoute/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1039Not sure if it was related to my template or Events Cal I did a bit of snooping around for a cure and found a few sites with the same problem running Events Cal.

MemberHi Duncan, we’re definitely interested in that as there seems to be quite a few of these cases being reported. Because the original problem is now resolved however I’m going to close this thread, but if at all possible please do take the time to add your comments to this thread where what sounds like the same problem has also been described:
And if you could also run through the same troubleshooting steps and see if that impacts on this particular problem that would be massively appreciated.
Thanks!

MemberHi all. Weβre taking another look at this problem, so, if anyone is still seeing this error:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /β¦/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1039
And you are happy to help out here, it would be massively appreciated if you could provide us with a database dump β this will improve our chances of replicating (and, hopefully, fixing) this problem.
The devs and designers amongst you will probably know how to do this, but for anyone who wants to help and is unsure how to create a database dump please check in with your hosting provider β often you will have access to a tool called phpMyAdmin (generally via your hosting control panel) and if you can login here you will find an Export tab that lets you basically create and download a copy of your database.
If you could then send it to us at [email protected] β including a reference to this thread β we will see if we can use it to make some further progress here.
