KeymasterHi paperweight,
Thanks for reaching out and going PRO!
Sorry about this issue. I can try to help you fix this.
This will be a bit tricky because we don’t have access to the EESB plugin.
Also, could you send me some screenshots of the issue, like before and after?
I checked the url you shared but wasn’t able to locate any share buttons.

KeymasterHi bcscideas,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry about this issue with Eventbrite import. I’d be happy to try to help you out here.
Could you please share some screenshots or a screen recording about the process with me? That would give me a better understanding on what you are trying to do and what the exact process is. With that I can try to test / recreate the scenario.
Thanks and looking forward to helping you solve this.

KeymasterHi washintonian,
Thanks for reaching out and reporting that! I’m really sorry about this inconvenience!
We are aware of this bug and a fix is already being worked on. If all goes according to plan, then the fix will be released by the end of March. (Please note, a maintenance release is coming this week, it will not be fixed in that.)
In the meantime, the workaround would be to downgrade Events Calendar PRO to 4.4.19.
Hang in there, we almost got this.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi lolo,
Yeah, then it’s something with either the setup or the hosting.
Let me now about your progress.

KeymasterAwesome to hear that worked!
We will give you a ping when that is fixed in the code, so you can remove the template override.

KeymasterSure thing. We’re almost there.

KeymasterHi James,
I’m not quite sure, as payment processing is not handled by our plugins.
I can think of 2 things.
Either your payment gateway (PayPal Express) is set up in a way that it doesn’t allow payment from that state. There are some settings in WooCommerce (maybe through another plugin) where you can limit what payments are allowed by shipping address and so on.
Or PayPal itself doesn’t allow PayPal Express (or whatever gateway you are trying to use) from that state. If it’s this one than this is a PayPal-thing.
I’d suggest to reach out to reach out to WooCommerce support, as this is handled by them.

KeymasterHi Peter,
Which tooling do you use to retrieve the data from the memo fields ?
I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand the question. Which memo fields are you referring to?
As for tooling, in our plugins we use built-in functions / methods – also from WooCommerce – to retrieve the ticket data and all data that is connected to a specific event or ticket.
Every event is a line in the wp_posts table, and has several meta data in the wp_postmeta table. And that’s the same for the tickets.
The sold tickets are also pretty similar, every order is a line in wp_posts with the corresponding metadata, and I believe woo is also saving some stuff in their own tables.

KeymasterI just did a bit more digging. Copying the events can cause some glitches. There is a data attached to every event, which keeps count of the total tickets sold. If you duplicate an event that already has sold tickets, this value will likely also be duplicated for the new one.
So if you sold already 4 tickets for the source event, then the duplicated event will start with this 4 despite not having any sales yet.

KeymasterThat’s awesome news, Laura!
One down, one to go.
She’s also seeing 0% attendees in the admin events table….
Yes, that is kinda normal. Only those tickets will be counted there whose order is set to ‘complete’. If the order is ‘pending’ or any other state than ‘complete’, then it will not show up in those numbers.

KeymasterHi andrerosing,
Thanks for reaching out!
There is no build in function for the widget area, but if your theme uses a widget area on the default page template then it is possible. (Looking at your website, it does.)
Go to Events > Settings > Display tab > Events Template option and set it to ‘Default Page Template’.
This will then give you a widget area / sidebar to all of your calendar pages, so also on your month view for example.
Check and let me know how that works out for you.

KeymasterHi Lolo,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear about this email issue.
Do other emails from your website go out? For example if you create a new user or ask for a password reset? Or do you get the emails from the new orders being placed? That would be the first to check.
Please also check what happens if you go to the Order page and in the ‘Order actions’ panel you choose to resend the ticket email. Does it go out then? (Here’s a screenshot.)
If you will need further assistance with this, please share your system information with us as well.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Abby,
Thanks for reaching out! What a great question, let me help you with that.
I believe our free Event Tickets plugin would be a great solution for that.
Event Tickets allows you to collect RSVPs for events. That functionality could be used for collecting interest as well.
Here is our demo site, on this page you can check that out in action:
The section called “RSVP” gives you that functionality. If you increase the number, then a couple of fields will appear where visitors need to submit their names and email, and signal whether they are interested or not (Going / Not going. This label can be changed with a tiny piece of code to “Interested / Not interested”.)
The section below called “Tickets” is done by our Event Tickets Plus plugin, in case you are looking into selling tickets in the future.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Louise,
Thanks for pointing that out, your feedback is much appreciated!
I will flag this to the team responsible for documentation so we can improve.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Cheers,
