KeymasterHello David,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out!
Please note that customizations of this sort are beyond the scope of our support. Nonetheless, I will ask someone on the team to take a look at this to give you some ideas, but it might take a couple of days.
In case you need a speedier help I can share with you this list of freelancers who can probably help you out.
Thanks for your patience and understanding!

KeymasterHello Mary,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out!
Sorry to hear about the duplication issues. Let me try to help you with this one.
Which website / domain is this happening with?
Are the venues and organizers duplicating each time an import is run?
A note: if you enter a venue manually and then import an event from Facebook with the same venue, then that will be most probably duplicated as Event Aggregator has no ways of knowing they are the same Venues.
When a venue is imported through a Facebook event, that receives a special tag, so Event Aggregator will know the next time this is the same event.
Note #2: we are currently aware of a bug that duplicates the venues.
Could you please share with me a url / feed that you are importing so I can run some tests with it?
how do we merge them
There is a possibility to merge them. Before doing this though I recommend you to create a database backup, just in case something doesn’t go as expected.
If you go to Events > Settings > General tab and scroll down a bit you should be able to see a ‘Merge Duplicates’ button for Venues and Organizers. Here’s a screenshot of this.
Let me know if this helps.

KeymasterHey Michael,
Please note that this is the pre-sales forum and we do not provide support here. To get you started on the question, you can find that “Tickets” string in this file, line 40:
\wp-content\plugins\event-tickets-plus\src\views\wootickets\tickets.php
Best would be to create a template override for that file based on our Themer’s Guide.
Hope this helps!
In case you need further help with our products and you have a valid premiums license, then I’d like to ask you to log in to our website and post your question in the premium forums.
If you don’t have a license then you can always post in the .org support forums for our plugins. We scan that regularly and either we or the community will be able to help you out.

KeymasterHey Bastien,
Sorry to hear it still doesn’t work.
I will try to get someone to take a look at this, this is beyond my skills.
Also please note, this is beyond the scope of support that we normally provide for our plugins, thus it might take a couple of days until someone gets back to you on this. If you don’t receive an answer until next Monday, then ping me and I’ll check if there is any progress.
Thanks for your understanding and your patience!

KeymasterHi Michael,
Sorry to hear that didn’t help.
I have talked with our resident WPML expert and recommended to check the following two options:
1. Remove the language switcher cache. You can find this under WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page (Here‘s how to find that page, and here‘s the button.)
You might also want to clear WPML cache.
2. Check the “Language filtering for AJAX operations” option under WPML > Languages, bottom of the page. (screenshot of this)
Let me know if this yields better results that the downgrading.

KeymasterHello Ingrid,
Thanks for reaching out! I can help you solve this one.
I checked the site, it has a nice design. 🙂 And I think the plugins are all right.
To answer your question: no, the events will remain intact if you deactivate, uninstall, then re-install the plugins. Nonetheless I recommend you to do a full site and database backup before doing any major change on your website.
If you would like to modify the list view, then you can find the corresponding files here:
wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\src\views\
There is a ‘list.php’ file and a ‘list’ folder there. I believe those are the ones you are looking for.
Also note that there already could be a template override for the list view, and other views as well. If this is the case then you need to look for the files here:
wp-content/themes/{your-active-theme-name}/tribe-events
That is the folder where all calendar template overrides are placed.
(You can find further info on creating template overrides in our Themer’s Guide)
Let me know if this gets you started and if you have more questions.

KeymasterHey Bastien,
Thanks for reaching out!
I checked your site and in the console I saw an error and a warning. Here’s a screenshot of that.
Both of them are connected, the error with “map is not defined” seems to be the issue here. Likely you will need to adjust the jQuery snippet a bit to define the map somehow.
Does that help you move forward?
Cheers,

KeymasterHey Laurie,
I’m happy to hear we have some results. 🙂 That’s the first step.
You still should be able to use W3TC, but likely you will need to keep minification switched off, or at least exclude the assets of The Events Calendar and PRO from minification.
I also recommend the following 2 articles for you:
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Cheers and have a great weekend!

KeymasterNo worries about the questions, Grace. Keep them coming, if there are more. 🙂
Event Tickets is a free plugin, you don’t need a license for that.
Event Tickets Plus is a premium extension that extends the functionalities of ET with being able to sell tickets among others.
You have ET installed already, that’s great!
To install ET+ first you need to download the plugin from your account here at theeventscalendar.com. Download the zip file to your computer.
Then on your website dashboard go to Plugins > Add new. There choose ‘Upload’ at the top and you will be able to browse for the zip file, then install it.
After the installation is done you will need to activate ET+ as well. Once activated you will be able to enter the license key under Events > Settings > Licenses tab
I hope this helps, and I’m here to help should you have more questions. 🙂
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Lali,
Thanks for going pro and welcome to the forums! I’d be happy to help you to get down to the bottom of this.
I understand you are jitterish, don’t worry, with a bit of time that will disappear. 🙂
I checked your site, it looks really nice.
Before we dig into the calendar issues…
In the browser console (in Chrome Developer Tools) I saw a bunch of errors when the page was loading. Most of them seem to come from minification that is provided by your caching plugin. Please, clear the cache and deactivate W3 Total Cache until we are dealing with this.
Let me know when that’s done and we will dig further into this.
Looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello Michael,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Showing / having any number of tickets per event is possible. However, the membership capability is not yet a functionality of our plugin.
As a workaround, what you could try is the following, assuming you use WooCommerce:
Every ticket you create has a corresponding WooCommerce product created. You could sell the tickets through their WooCommerce product page.
Use a WooCommerce extension that helps you deal with membership and limiting certain products to members only.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Grace,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry about your troubles. I might be able to help you with this one.
If I understand correctly, then you purchased Event Tickets Plus (ET+).
Based on the information you gave me I assume you are trying to put in the Event Tickets Plus license key into the Events Aggregator field. That usually gives this message.
Based on this, if you would like to activate ET+, then copy the key into the Event Tickets Plus license key field. Wait until the green success message appears and then hit save. (Note: to be able to use ET+ you will also need the free Event Tickets plugin as well.)
If you wanted to purchase an Event Aggregator license instead but put the wrong product in the basket, let me know and I can exchange it for you.
Cheers,
