Cross posting from the WordPress help forum.

I’ve just started working with my calendar and was able to create plenty of events but they don’t show in the calendar itself. The date is highlighted and there’s a large black/grey bullet on days where there’s an event. I’m trying to achieve a calendar with a list of events on any given day, not a bullet. (it was suggested that my calendar is displaying in the mobile version?)

I’m relatively new to WP but I’ve gone through the beginner primer and tried using Appearance–>Customize to find the solution but I’m still at a loss.
I’ve also read the ‘Testing for Conflict’ page but it is too technically advanced for my pay grade and deactivating plugins or reverting to a different theme frankly scares the heck out of me since I’m so new to WP. I would have no clue how to recover from a mistake. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?utm_medium=plugin-tec&utm_source=helptab&utm_campaign=in-app#test-for-conflict

Maybe it’s fighting with my template? Webpage https://alohacondorental.com/events/month
Thanks in advance for any help!!

edited to add that I tried the suggestions posted here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/calendar-events-have-no-titles-just-bullets/#post-9584840 to no avail.

    Hi Lali,

Thanks for going pro and welcome to the forums! I’d be happy to help you to get down to the bottom of this.

I understand you are jitterish, don’t worry, with a bit of time that will disappear. 🙂

I checked your site, it looks really nice.

Before we dig into the calendar issues…

In the browser console (in Chrome Developer Tools) I saw a bunch of errors when the page was loading. Most of them seem to come from minification that is provided by your caching plugin. Please, clear the cache and deactivate W3 Total Cache until we are dealing with this.

Let me know when that’s done and we will dig further into this.

Looking forward to helping you solve this.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Thank you András!! That seemed to fix it. Which is fantastic! But how do I use the W3 total cache plugin now?

Again, thank you so much!! I really appreciate your help. I wouldn’t have figured this out without your help.

    Hey Laurie,

I’m happy to hear we have some results. 🙂 That’s the first step.

You still should be able to use W3TC, but likely you will need to keep minification switched off, or at least exclude the assets of The Events Calendar and PRO from minification.

I also recommend the following 2 articles for you:

Cheers and have a great weekend!
