MemberExcellent to see you got that figured out, jey! If you need anything else as you keep using the plugin please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Rob
MemberKaren: you wouldn’t have any reason to modify single.php unless you wanted to add new code or change how it displays. A good way to test this would be to reinstall the plugin fresh (so we know there aren’t any modifications) and see if the issue persists. Can you confirm from there?
Rob
MemberAlright, thanks for confirming. Let me see if Jonah can make any observations based on this.
Rob
MemberHey Ken. Knowing is definitely half the battle! The case could even be made for more than half.
So if I understand correctly, it sounds like you’re set here now…right? Let me know if not and we can keep looking into it for you.
Rob
MemberHey there! If you didn’t do this as a template override (creating an ‘events’ folder in your theme directory and copying over the files you want to change so you’re modifying them there), it probably will be overwritten next time you update the plugin. If that’s the case you may want to keep the code on hand so you can easily add it back in at that point.
Let me know what else we can do.

MemberHey there Brody. Thanks for the note here – while we as the Modern Tribe are unfortunately booked pretty solid into summer, we do have a network of freelance devs we’re always happy to put users in contact with if they’re interested. Shoot an email to pro /a/ tri.be with a link to this thread and we’ll make it happen.
Rob
MemberHey guys. This should be fixed as of 2.0.4. Can you confirm whether or not it is still an issue after updating?

MemberHey Michelle. Thanks for the note. Can you confirm that there isn’t a custom ‘events’ folder in your theme directory, and that the site is running all the plugin files from the plugin folder itself (rather than modified templates used for a template override)? If you have custom code in there try stripping that out.
Then, make sure on your Plugins list that you only have one version of The Events Calendar (2.0.4) and one version of Events Calendar PRO (also 2.0.4) active. Also, just to be sure: you’re on the latest build of WordPress as well…correct?
Let me know what happens with the suggestions above and I can keep troubleshooting as needed from there.
Rob
MemberAh, excellent! So it sounds like you’re all set here, right? Just wanted to confirm – if you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Rob
MemberHey Joe. Thanks for the words! This should be doable but I’m not sure how; assume you’ve tried changing the overall WP settings to see if they have any impact? I’ve also asked our dev Jonah – a man more knowledgeable on these issues than I – to comment as well.
Rob
MemberThanks for the follow-ups, Robert. Got this back on Jonah’s plate today so you should expect a response from him shortly.
Rob
MemberHey Tony. This is an interesting request; can you elaborate on what exactly you’re going for here? Doesn’t the saved venue functionality in PRO already account for this, or am I misunderstanding the request? Let me know and we’ll do what we can to point you in the right direction from there!
Rob
MemberThanks Darren! I’ve asked Jonah from our dev team to take a look here today and respond accordingly. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience thus far.
Rob
MemberWere you trying to share code there, Dmytro? If so please use pastie.org or a similar service for now, then drop the link in. Apologies for the inconvenience there!
Rob
MemberHey grupoakro. Thanks for the follow-up; on the time zone front, I was curious as to what your settings there were. Mind posting a screenshot of your time zone settings?
Email pro /a/ tri.be with a link to this thread and we can get you the translation code.
