Hey John. Totally; the specific code should be found at the link in this comment from the thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/indexation-of-thousands-pages/#post-16172.

Hey Lynn. Should be doable and I thought there was a past thread on this topic, but I’m unable to find it. As such let me get Jonah to comment directly when he hits the forums this afternoon.

Thanks for confirming as much, Matt. I don’t believe the slightly-outdated WPMU install would be responsible here but I’m not positive. I will get Jonah to check this out when he hits the forums this afternoon and we can keep trying to troubleshoot accordingly from there. Apologies for the inconvenience so far.

Excellent to hear! Thanks for confirming as much, Chris. Let us know if you need anything else along the way.

Hey Robert, thanks for the note. This is something that is unfortunately outside the realm of what we can provide a tutorial on given the complexity, but we have been discussing adding frontend organizer pages (akin to frontend venue pages) in a future release. A vote for that in the Feature Requests thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/) would certainly give it some more bearing as we plot future releases.

I know that some users have found a way to hack this together (you may want to search through past threads here), and if you get creative with your use of venues they can serve as organizers as well. If there is enough demand for the frontend organizer page feature then we will definitely be incorporating that down the road as well. My apologies that I couldn’t offer up more in the short term.

Richard: that is awesome! The colored categories are looking slick and really make the individual events pop. And it looks like, on the real world side, the synagogue is about a 10 minute walk from my home/office here in Oakland…small world.

    Thanks again for sharing.

Hey Heather! Thanks for the awesome suggestions. I can definitely see the value of both your first and third suggestions. That’s the first time those have come up and they’re a thoughtful approach to the calendar. Thank you.

For the second, I believe Jonah’s post on this should cover what you’re looking for: https://theeventscalendar.com/coloring-your-category-events/. That help?

Thanks for the words, Chris! Glad to hear you’re digging the plugin so far. It doesn’t look like any screenshot came through with this; what fields specifically are you trying to remove? Let me know and I can try to get one of our devs to point you in the right direction.

Hey Steven. Thanks for the note; sorry to hear you’re having issues. I was unable to recreate this on my end using multiple browsers so my guess is it’s a conflict of some kind.

Please confirm that you’re on the 2.0.4 release for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Please also resave your permalinks (no need to make any changes, just resave) and confirm whether you’ve updated any other plugins recently that could have caused this to happen. Lastly, let me know what browser and WP version you’re using. We’ll do what we can to assist from there.

Hey Francisco. Hopefully some of the documentation we’ve got could help you out here. On the widget customization front, have you checked out our post on how to completely customize widgets at (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/) ? That should point you in the right direction but let me know if not.

For the latter, you do have a number of options available via template tags. Those are detailed at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation.

Hey Dave. I can get Jonah to take a look at why that other solution wouldn’t be working. Can you post the code you’ve used so we can take a look at it directly?

Thanks for the report here, James. I’m not sure about this one myself but it looks like something is up. I’ve asked our dev Jonah to take a look so we can get this patched up for the next release as needed. Stay tuned.

That’s odd. I haven’t ever heard of this issue, and it doesn’t sound like this is a default behavior of the plugin. Are you in a position where you can test deactivating other plugins to see if a conflict of some kind persists? That would be my best guess…either that or some problem with your hosting set-up. (Let me know if you think that’s possible). If you aren’t able to identify anything there, let me know and I can bring a dev in as needed.

Hey Richard. It sounds like the easiest way to accomplish this would just be to set the default view (under Settings -> The Events Calendar) to list view instead of grid view. Then when users visited the /events page they’d see the list.

If not, and if you wanted to get more customized with how you display event data, you should check out our template tag documentation at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation. If you still have questions from there let me know.
