MemberHey Lloyd. Sure thing; not positive about this myself, but let me see if our dev Jonah has any ideas here. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberThanks for the heads up here, Steve. We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it, hopefully for our release that will be out the first week of June. Appreciate the suggestion you’ve provided…I’ll share it with the dev team accordingly.
Apologies in the interim for any inconvenience…

MemberLooks like we’re all set here so I’m going to close this thread. Let us know if we can do anything else, Alex.
Rob
MemberClosing this thread since it looks like we’re all set. Thanks Jonah!

MemberHey Jackie. We’ve got just one Eventbrite’d post on the demo site as it stands, and that’s this one: http://demo.tri.be/event/sample-of-the-events-calendars-eventbrite-integration/. Hope that helps!
Rob
MemberHey Matthew. Thanks for the note here, and for the heads up – sorry to hear your client is encountering this issue. Do you have a sample Event from this pattern that I can import to test this on my local install? I’ve been unable to recreate thus far but it may be something to do with the event details. If you could also share me your specific timezone settings (as configured under Settings -> General) I’ll set mine to recreate those too, so I can troubleshoot accordingly.
Cheers!

MemberGood question, guys. I’m not sure about this myself but I’ve asked Jonah from our team to take a look. If he’s not sure I’ll bring in the lead dev on this project…stay tuned in either case.

MemberHey Vanessa. Thanks for the note, and sorry to hear you’re having issues here. It sounds like there is a conflict of some kind at play here. Are you in a position where you can test deactivation of your other plugins, and then reverting to the default 2011 theme (with just Events + Community) active from there? That way we could identify if this was a conflict with either the plugin or the theme.
Let me know and we’ll try to troubleshoot from there. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey Laura. Thanks for reaching out with this. Can you set me up with a “Subscriber” account so I can test this out on my end? Email the creds to pro /a/ tri.be and I will take a look. It’s very possible this is a theme-specific issue; while I’m unable to recreate it on my default 2011 build I’d like to check it out further on your install. Thanks in advance!

MemberHi there, Spoa. Thanks for the follow-up and for your purchase of community. I’m sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with the result here. A bit of background: the plugin that you’re using is the 1.0 release…the first build we’ve put out, which means it’s going to be lighter on features than something that’s been around a while. Though not as robust as what you’re looking for, notifications are included in the initial build as we’d planned. It’s worth noting that at the time of our exchange how those notifications would operate – though confirmed as a launch feature – was little more than an idea on paper, and not something we’d yet built or knew the exact specs of. When the time came to build the notifications we’d include with launch, we went with what we could get done in a reasonable amount of time to get the plugin live on schedule.
That doesn’t mean the notifications are a done deal and we won’t touch them again. In fact, what you’re noting is logged in our system as a proposed feature for a future build and is on the docket as we plot out future releases beyond the 2.0.7 of Events and the 1.0.1 of Community that we’re working to launch in early June.
All that to say…I’m sorry for suggesting robust notifications specific to what you’d requested would be included in the 1.0 build. While we’d hate to see you go, I would be willing to refund you the price of your purchase if you think that’s the right course. Shoot an email to pro /a/ tri.be.

MemberHector is correct here, in that this is a known issue that we’re working hard to fix now. We’ll have the patch deployed in our 1.0.1 build, which should be out the first week of June. Thanks for being patient thus far!
Rob
MemberThank YOU for all the feedback you’ve provided on the forums here, John. You’re helping us make a better product with each bit 🙂 Let us know if we can do anything else.
Rob
MemberLooks awesome, Michelle! Thanks for sharing, and for confirming your status. You’ve got a very calming color palette there that goes nicely with the sites subject. Great work (and let us know when it’s “complete” in your eyes).
Rob
MemberRudeetours: could you bring back the sidebars with a different templating option selected under Settings -> The Events Calendar?
Rob
MemberThanks Jeremy. I see that this is in the pile for the 2.0.7 release, which is out the first week of June. We haven’t actually identified the issue yet so it’s not guaranteed but as long as we can figure out the issue these next couple of weeks as we get into dev…you should be all set. Thanks to everyone for being patient.
