http://www.helencummins.com/events/Lots of TEC users have been asking about displaying all events on a Google map. I have been able to do this quite easily so thought i’d show my example:
Mariana: the integration on your two sites is looking very slick. You’re one of the first who has showcased their work with WPML so hopefully this will give them some ideas.
Henry: that is awesome. As you mention tons of people have been asking about such a feature lately…this will show them all it can be done.
We’re building a nice Showcase page on the tri.be site, too, so we can highlight some of these sites in greater depth. We’re excited about where it’s headed and I’ll definitely post a link to the finished product whenever that’s done. It won’t be anytime this week or anything but (like so many other things) it’s on the radar!

I also like your calendar – specifically the category dropdown (Find an Event). I am trying to implement this on my calendar but am finding it quite tricky. I am not a PHP coder – but with instructions I am sure I can make it happen. Would you be able to tell me how you did the category dropdown? I really need detailed instructions (ie what code to put in and which file it should go into..) – so if you could tell me that would be really appreciated! My calendar in its current form is online at http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/
I’m also trying to get the results for just one category to show up on the gridview but don’t know how to do that either (http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/category/europe/)

Shannon: isn’t that site awesome? That was a heavy customization job I’m sure. Rob/Henry-I am one of those looking for an integrated way to show events on a map. Your link/page shows that it can be done, but are you willing to share the “how”? Happy to move this over to a different thread if more appropriate.
