    Hi there @Cyril and @Cynthia,

    Thanks for reaching out as well!

    @Cyril, great feedback! I’m noting your comment in the ticket right now.

    @Cynthia, yeap, for now this is the only workaround.

    Thanks for the patience on this folks,
    Looking forward to having this fixed,
    Best,

    Hi Ahmet,

    Thanks for following-up on this! The code shared wasn’t intended to be a definitive solution but more of an starting point from which you can develop the customization you need for your website. I can take another look at this and run some quick tests next week but I can’t assure to craft this snippet if it takes too much time, as this is out of the support scope we can provide here.

    Have a great weekend, I’ll be back to you on Monday,

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for sending over the event URL. I was able to import the event in my local install -clean WordPress install with The Events Calendar plugin + add-ons + TweentyFifteen theme-, and the tickets are showing correctly in the front end of the site as expected.

    Thanks also going through the steps in the testing for conflicts guide. The next step to check on this would be to test importing the event in a clean WordPress install. If your hosting provides has cPanel enabled -or other similar software- you might be able to do a very quick and simple 1-click install of WordPress to test this.

    Please let me know if that sounds doable for you,
    Have a great weekend,

    Hi Suha,

    Thanks for confirming that! I’ve been doing a couple of different tests to see if I could reproduce the error on my end, but it was possible ๐Ÿ™

    This seems pretty random, Do you have some clue that might lead us to a pattern? For example: from the cases you’ve seen is this always happening with a determined amount of events? Is it always the last ticket? In the sample you showed me, Was there a third ticket in the actual purchase or was the ‘corrupted ticket’ added as third ticket?

    Also, are you using the latest version of our plugins?

    Please let me know if you can find any pattern for this error,
    Have a great weekend,

    Howdy Mike,

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you out on this!

    I don’t think that’s possible right now ๐Ÿ™ What you can do is to generate the event as a two day event and set it to repeat every week. But I guess the problem there will be the event time (October 23 5:00pm – to – October 24 8:00pm), you can manage to format that in the single event view but still not sure if it’s a viable solution. Other option is to create separate series of two events for every weekend, but if there are a lot of events this might be a bit frustrating to set up.

    Please let me know if any of those might work for you,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Courtney,

    Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you are caught between a rock and a hard place here.

    Unfortunately I don’ think that Filter Bar can help you out on this ๐Ÿ™ Take a look at the available filters: https://cloudup.com/ckVznf2yChb. The ‘Day’ filter refers to ‘day of the week’ (Monday, Tuesday,…) in which the events is taking place and the ‘Time’ filter, in which moment it will take place (All Day, Morning,…), so I don’t see how they can help. Where you thinking in any particular filter?

    Please let me know about this,

    Hey Jamie,

    Thanks for reaching out to us on this! We appreciate your feedback, and let me say I agree with everything you point out.

    It’s true that our technical docs have been improved, but we know there’s a lot more that can be done – like adding hooks, among other things. I see there’s a ticket for this in our backlog, I’ll add your comments in there, but I guess we will have to wait some time before the docs are improved again.

    Gravity Help seems to be doing a good job there!

    Thanks a lot for your feedback once again, please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you on this?
    Have a great weekend,

    Howdy Dan,

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you out on this one!

    The iCal importer won’t do the authentication, you’ll need to introduce the URL to the feed itself. Can you investigate if there’s a way to send login credentials or a private hash or some other way to authenticate trough URL, like http://user:[email protected]/cal.ics? Google Calendar for example lets you create a private URL to sync with other calendars. I’m not familiar with how OwnCloud works.

    Please let me know about this,

    Hey Yann,

    Thanks for getting in touch, I’ll help figuring this out!

    Can you point me to the URL where this is happening?
    All the maps I stumbled upon on the site are working, maybe you could already fix this?

    Please let me know about it,

    Howdy Mao,

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you out on this!

    From what I’m seeing in the WordPress translate site for The Events Calendar -https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable-, vietnamese has no translated string. Also the translation for Events Calendar PRO -http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar-pro/- has not been created yet.

    I’m curious about the โ€œthe-events-calendar-vi_VN.poโ€ , I don’t see it included in plugin directory. Did you add it manually?

    Please let me know about it,

    Hi Charlotte,

    Thanks for following-up on this! I can see what you mean now, sorry for my miss understanding there.

    Everything seems to be working as expected in my local install. Not heard of this as well, so I think the best is troubleshoot a bit more on this. Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

    Please let me know about the test results,
    Best,

    Hey Jacob,

    Thanks for trying that out before hitting the forums again, this one requires a bit of PHP knowledge I guess!

    Here’s the snippet, just replace the value for $venue_id with the correct value:

    /* Modify Venues list for FilterBar */
    add_filter( 'tribe_events_filter_values', 'modify_filter_venues', 20, 2);
    function modify_filter_venues ( $filter_values, $slug ) {

    if($slug == 'venues') {
    $venue_id = 99;

    if ( $key = array_search($venue_id, array_column($filter_values, 'value')) ) {
    $selected_venue = array_splice($filter_values, $key, 1);
    array_unshift($filter_values, $selected_venue[0]);
    }
    }

    return $filter_values;
    }

    Please let me know if you can make this work on your site,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi there Chloe and Paul,

    Thanks both for following-up on this, and confirming everything looks fine in the settings ๐Ÿ™‚

    @Paul, I’ll focus on Chloe’s feedback to get this sorted. You are welcome to follow along, but if you want a closer follow-up on your issue just create new topic – you can always link back to this one not to describe the issue again.

    @Chloe, the ‘cart’ behavior you describes sounds strange, and might be related with the stock management issue. Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. Also if you have an event in your site -live or dev site- where I can see this please share the link with me.

    Have a great weekend,

    Howdy Randy,

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you out!

    Regarding the mini-calendar widget, if you configure it to show a specific number of events (something greater than 0) it will pull the events under the calendar, if is set to ‘0’ it will link to the appropriate date in the calendar – take a look at this article on configuring the calendar widget.

    Also, can I change the name of the full calendar page from โ€˜Archiveโ€™ to something else?

    You mean the page title? Check this article out: Changing the browser title for calendar views.

    Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this,
    Best,
    Nico
