The link from the calendar not working

When there is an event highlighted on the mini calendar, clicking on it does not bring you to the page. Also, can I change the name of the full calendar page from ‘Archive’ to something else?

Regarding the mini-calendar widget, if you configure it to show a specific number of events (something greater than 0) it will pull the events under the calendar, if is set to ‘0’ it will link to the appropriate date in the calendar – take a look at this article on configuring the calendar widget.

Also, can I change the name of the full calendar page from ‘Archive’ to something else?
