Grouping Recurring Events and Showing Date Range

I did a search but did not see an answer to what I am hoping is possible to do. Here’s an example of what I have going on. I have an event that takes place a couple of weekends in a row:

October 23 & October 24 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
October 30 & October 31 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Is it possible to only show one occurrence for each of these date ranges and then show the date range with the event title?

What I am looking for is:

Friday, October 23, 2015 & Saturday, October 24, 2015
Event Title
Event Excerpt

Right now it is showing each entry separately.

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you out on this!

I don’t think that’s possible right now 🙁 What you can do is to generate the event as a two day event and set it to repeat every week. But I guess the problem there will be the event time (October 23 5:00pm – to – October 24 8:00pm), you can manage to format that in the single event view but still not sure if it’s a viable solution. Other option is to create separate series of two events for every weekend, but if there are a lot of events this might be a bit frustrating to set up.

Unfortunately I need it to function exactly as I demonstrated. Hopefully this will be a feature in a future release, I think it would be really helpful.
