You can use this method to do so: Change the wording of any bit of text or string. Changing the language files is not recommended as your changes will be lost with a plugin update. You can also use the Say What? plugin to modify translations safely.

While we don’t have a way of controlling the order of the options in the filter itself we can change this with a snippet.
Try pasting the following snippet in your theme’s (or child theme’s) functions.php file:

We have other folks that confirmed DST issues were fixed with 4.1.1 because of other fix, so please let me know if this is still an issue for you. Also one user mentioned he had to update (just go into the event and re save it) some of the events to see the change.

So you are saying that if I have an event let’s say from Monday to Friday (not recurring), and I have a sticky one on Wednesday, the other event would be in first place? Once we can identify / replicate this bug I’ll be able to log it to get it fix by the dev team. Until I don’t get and see the issue I won’t be able to think of a solution.
Could you review this in default conditions? It would be great to discard a conflict before moving forward.

Unfortunately there’s no easy way of doing this. You can inspect the Tribe__Events__Facebook__Resync class located at plugins/the-events-calendar-facebook-importer/src/Tribe/Resync.php and see how it’s done internally.
I’m still a bit confused about how the images got deleted in the first place. The plugin upgrade just updates the plugin code but shouldn’t affect existing data.
I guess the best way to do this would be to delete and re-sync the events in an staging site and then migrate the data to the live site. Does that makes sense to you?

Thanks for following up! You should not loose any information by network activating or deactivating the plugins. If the information is not showing up for you after the change then just go back with it, but activating/deactivating our plugins wont change information in the database.
To add an extra layer of peace of mind you can do a quick backup before changing this.

Regarding #1, there’s a related feature request in The Events Calendar user voice page. If you can go in there an add a description of your usecase it would be great!
On #2, I’ll create a ticket to add some filters to control which fields get overwritten, this sounds logic and not a big lift for devs. Regarding the notification part, I guess that’s far more complex and not so easy to develop. I’ll link this thread to the ticket so this information will be available to devs as well.

At first sight the code seems to be fine and if it works, I guess it’s a solution that might be useful for others o at least a starting point to create their own customizations based on their particular needs!

Thanks for confirming, and sorry to hear this didn’t help. I’ll run some more tests on this, can you please indicate which calendar soft you are using to generate the ics?
Also if available can you send me the feeds before and after the events are deleted? If you do so, please indicate which is the deleted event.
