Kevin
ParticipantI noticed that After the recent update, may of the event images are no longer displaying. in my Media Library they do not display. the only thing that is displayed is the facebook filename.
[1] How can I correct this without re-syncing each event manually.
[2] Does the auto import function sync all the events previously imported from facebook? or only automatically import new events from pages?

MemberHi there Kevin,
Thanks for reaching out!
To re-sync events you can use the ‘Re-Synchronize’ button in the edit event admin screen: https://cloudup.com/czQaCQWO3hn or re-import them via the Facebook Import tab. The later is probably better if you have many events.
The update shouldn’t delete any images, are you sure about it? Do you have a staging site were you can re-test this?
Have you looked into the server admin to see if there’s enough disk space for media?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantMy hosting server can support this media. Is there no way to bulk re-sync events? or Auto re-sync events? Too many many events have been affected and fixing them one by one is very time consuming.
Re-importing the event via the Facebook Import function doesn’t work unless i first delete the original event. I receive an error message saying that the event was already imported from Facebook
thanks.

MemberKevin,
Unfortunately there’s no easy way of doing this. You can inspect the Tribe__Events__Facebook__Resync class located at plugins/the-events-calendar-facebook-importer/src/Tribe/Resync.php and see how it’s done internally.
I’m still a bit confused about how the images got deleted in the first place. The plugin upgrade just updates the plugin code but shouldn’t affect existing data.
I guess the best way to do this would be to delete and re-sync the events in an staging site and then migrate the data to the live site. Does that makes sense to you?
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
Best,
