MemberHey Sven,
Thanks for following up!
So just to be clear: I add the quote to the existing theme (Church-event) functions file by pasting the code into the .php file?
Sure, that’s one possibility although when using third party themes it’s always recommended to store customizations in a Child Theme to prevent them to be overwritten in future theme updates.
Please let me know if you still need help implementing the scripts,

MemberHi there Jo!
I’m closing this thread as the problem seems to be fixed in current versions of the plugins. You seem to have another ticket on the same here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-problem-4/
Let’s continue the conversation in that thread 🙂

MemberThanks for following up Benjamin!
Ah, I’m copying them from your plug-in folder… didn’t know there was a specific overrides folder for Avada!
Avada comes packed with various template overrides for the events calendar, you can find those in the Avada theme folder: wp-content/themes/Avada/tribe-events/…. You can copy from there and use in the child theme, if the template you are looking for is not there, it means Avada is not overriding it and you should take it from our plugin folder.
Please let me know if you get it, I know it sounds a bit confusing!

MemberThanks for following up Claudia…
Just browsed the site but the text seems to be alright:

This seems to be a ‘rendering issue’ caused by your particular setup (browser, zoom, screen resolution, etc) and the type used. To verify you can open the page in a different browser or seeing it from another computer / device. This is fairly common, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. What you can do to make sure it displays correctly in all setups, is to user a thinner type or style for that text.
Hope this helps,

MemberThanks for following up Benjamin 🙂
Could you point me in the right direction on how to edit these filters? Which file will I find them in – related-events.php?
Sure, just paste the code below in your child theme’s functions.php file:

Please let me know if that works for you,

NicoPD: please note we are not always able to provide help on customizations, this case is fairly simple thou.

MemberHi there Jeremy,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about this issue 🙁
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Also, you might want to update the plugins to the latest version. Not sure it will solve the issue but will surely put us in the same page.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
