ParticipantHi there,
Could you please let me know if you are any nearer to a fix for the bug noted in November in the following link:
Many thanks,

MemberHi Jo,
Thanks for writing in!
I checked on the ticket and it has not yet been slated for a release. In the meantime, I’ve gone ahead and noted this thread in the ticket so we can follow-up with you when a patch is ready. I’ll also mark this thread Pending Fix.
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks for checking. So I guess that means you still have no idea when it will be fixed and it could go on for another few months?
This has been going on a while and is becoming an issue for me so I need to find a work around. I have tried going back to older versions of the Calendar but the bug persists. Is there a way to find all entries that are listed as both Recurring and All Day without going through each listing? I really need an automatic way to convert these from All Day to starting at 8am and ending at 5.30pm.
Thanks,

MemberHi Jo,
Thanks for following up. I hope you had a great weekend!
Yeah, I unfortunately do not have a good idea of which release this issue will be fixed in. I know that’s not great news, but I do want you to know that I have at least flagged the ticket for our team as future releases are getting planned.
Is there a way to find all entries that are listed as both Recurring and All Day without going through each listing?
There actually is a good way to do something close to that. If you grab the Advanced Post Manager plugin, it adds a number of filters you can use to sort events in the WordPress admin, with Recurring Events being one of the options to sort by. Where is falls short, however, is that it does not include a way to filter events by the start time. What I’m hoping though is that this will at least help you sort events by recurring and make it a lot easier to locate the events you’re looking for.
I’ll keep this thread in Pending Fix for you.

MemberHi there Jo!
I’m closing this thread as the problem seems to be fixed in current versions of the plugins. You seem to have another ticket on the same here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-problem-4/
Let’s continue the conversation in that thread 🙂
Best,
