RSVP – 'Free' lable

Hi. Is it possible to remove or replace the ‘Free’ label when selecting RSVP as a ticket option. Due to circumstances I would like to have attendees register and pay a fee via bank transfer. I have indicated a price but this is in conflict with the default ‘Free’ label which I can’t seem to change or remove.

The short answer is yes. You can do just that with the help of code snippets.

Depending on your scenario, you will want to use one of the following:

1. https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/a63180206b4ebb3a1f30511228816652
2. https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/b440feef873af841d023c0bf0839e93f

Simply apply one of the preceding snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top).

Sure, that’s one possibility although when using third party themes it’s always recommended to store customizations in a Child Theme to prevent them to be overwritten in future theme updates.
