MemberGracias Antonio!
Al parecer este es el venue (lugar) con ciudad y provincia = 0 → https://rondainfinita.info/lugar/eventos-mary-montes/
Podrías checkear en el back-end que tiene configurado como ciudad y provincia?

MemberThanks for following up April and sorry to hear this is still an issue for you.
I suggested using the global timezone for every event, and setting the correct timezone in the site. If this doesn’t work for you, just revert the settings to what you had before. Sorry if this messed up with your site event times.
Regarding the encoding of the feed and the comment from the app developers, they are right about it. But it seems that now when the coded has been changed it’s showing the correct timezone headers: http://www.hopenc.org/whats-happening/?ical=1. I’m not sure how your site/events timezone were configured before but seems to be right now. Maybe the time is not correct but that’s because the site is converting the previous dates to UTC-5. So for example ‘Worship Service – 10am’ is showing at 5, because the timezone in the events must be UTC +0. Makes sense? if that’s the case let me see if I can write a snippet to bulk update event timezones, and bypass the manual edit.
Please let me know if this is the case of ‘Worship Service – 10am’ and all other events,

MemberHi there Thomas,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you on this 🙂
First of all let me say there’s no way to do this via settings. You can block admin access to the different roles, and ask for approval (Events will be set to Pending Review). What’s not possible is to have a user role bypassing this ‘pending review’ setting.
Before I try to write a code snippet for this, let’s make sure we are on the same page. You want to have 2 users that can submit events via the Community form. One of them (suscribers) will need manual approval of submitted events, while there other role (contributor) won’t need approval. Both users roles won’t have back-end access. Is this correct?
Please let me know about it and I’ll see if it’s possible to achieve this with a snippet,

MemberStoked to hear Niels! Thanks for the kind words, really appreciate 🙂
Also, this gives me the confidence that my customized templates will not lag behind major changes, if they are properly announced – which yours truly are…
Yeah, this is what we try to do. If any changes (small or not so) are introduced they should be properly communicated in the change log and the release blog post.
Thanks for being a great customer to work with! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.
Cheers,

MemberHi there Terri,
Thanks for letting me know! I’ve refunded both orders and you should see the funds back in your account in 5-10 days.
I’ll leave this thread open so you can confirm that the refund was processed.

MemberThanks for following up Niels. Sure I can clarify a bit…
Is it possible, that you can give me some insights on the decision? Maybe this will save me from some pitfalls, I could encounter. Does it interfere with some of the functionaltity? Or just not of general importance?
I think the main reason is that we don’t update templates very frequently. Introducing changes in templates, means for the customer who has templates override in place to revisit their code and try to stay up to date. So changes like this are done in batches. For example in next feature release 4.4 the submission form will receive a major overhaul and many changes will be introduced. If these changes were divided into smaller tweaks across versions it would not be convenient for customers with customized versions of the templates, theme developers, etc. If I’m not mistaken the tickets form will be revisited as well next year. All this said the recommendation has been made and it’s now a matter of how the front-end team will organize the work 🙂
Hope this helps to understand how things are viewed from our side!
