ParticipantThe latitude and longitude option is greyed out in Venue and can’t be edited. I have existing venues with lat/lon that continue to work but I can no longer add lat/lon to new venues.

MemberHey,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you on this 🙂
Can you please send a screenshot of this? Also is this happening with all venues? Can you still edit the existing venues with lat/lon?
It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantWe have a mixed site: no SSL for the public part of the site, and SSL for the members-only part that uses the plugin s2member. Our calendar is in the members-only SSL part of the site. Apparently that causes a problem with The Events Calendar.
I can’t set the home and site URLs as you suggest due to the above. I looked at the plugin but it wasn’t clear to me whether it would address our system.

Yes, I could find an existing bug report yesterday on this. The fix for this is planned to be released in the next maintenance release (there might be a small one soon but I don’t think this fix will make it).
Possible solutions for now:
- Use tha same protocol for both Home URL and Site URL
- Downgrade to version 4.3.2 of the plugins
- SSL insecure content fixer which helped some other customers
I’ve added your case to our bug report, this way you’ll get a reply when the fix for this is released. I’ve set the thread status to ‘Pending Fix’ for now.
Please let me know if any of the proposed solutions work for now,
Best,

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to share that we’ve just published The Events Calendar 4.3.5, which includes some fixes to our plugin JavaScript and asset loading. These fixes should help address some of the problems reported here.
You can learn more about the release on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-the-events-calendar-4-3-5-event-tickets-4-3-5-and-premium-plugins/
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
