MemberHi Patrick,
Sorry to hear about the issue you are having – we’ve dug a little deeper since the first gist we offered and came up with a little more info.
We’ve isolated some of these issue being to the fact that the theme does not support the body_class(); function (for more info: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/body_class) . Try opening up your header.php file and see if this is in there:
<body <?php body_class(); ?>>
If not I’d add it and see how the calendar works at this point. Would you like to give it a go and let us know if it worked?

MemberHi Robert,
Sorry to hear about the issue you are having – We have noticed this on a few other users site, but so far its been isolated to just a few types of themes.

You think this will work for you? Would you like to give it a go and let us know if it worked?

MemberHi memco – when you changed the slugs – can you confirm that you also refreshed the permalinks – by visiting this page: Setting -> permalinks: http://d.pr/i/xnrH
Neill
MemberThanks for the update.
Yes we certainly would be interested in taking a look at your solution when its live and seeing if we can give a few pointers.
In the mean time I’m sure you’ve seen this but just in case we have quite a few tutorial for themers here: https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/
I’m going to close out this ticket for now, but feel free to open a new one if you run in to any more issues, or when the site is live.
Thanks

MemberHi Klara,
First off, thanks you to snorton for throwing in his reply above and helping out. It looks like this may have resolved the issue.
I’m going to close this ticket out as it looks like you selected the above reply as a solution. If there is anything else we can do then please feel free to start a new thread and we’ll be happy to help.

MemberNow you should be able to visit the Permalinks page and refresh them and that should take care of that issue. Let me know if it doesn’t work

MemberHi Yvette,
How did the above work? Is there anything we can still help with?
Neill
MemberHey!
Sorry that your event has passed and that we didn’t figure it out in time – but I think we may have it solved – just to confirm (and make sure this doesn’t occur again) can you tell me what your values for “Events URL slug” and “Single event URL slug” are?
For your reference this is what ours look like: http://d.pr/i/d9IP

MemberHi Klara,
I did dig a little deeper and specifically with the example you provided above
I can see what you are saying here, but I think if I’m reading this correctly it proves a little clearer that there is indeed something going wrong with the theme, and not the plugin – When you first load the page you get that view that is all over the place. When you click on “next” you are invoking an AJAX control – AJAX grabs the info for the next page without actually reloading the page – so the new view is 100% handled by our plugin without having to reload the theme part of the page. Now that the AJAX from our plugin is taking the lead it organizes the info correctly, as it doesn’t pass this data through the afore mentioned formatting functions.
This is a very top level description of what is going on in this case, but should give you an idea of how it works.
I really think that the theme authors are best suited for this question – as my knowledge is based just around the plugin and supporting its features. I hope you see this for what it is, and not a shift in blame – we just don’t have the scope or tools to fix issues with themes or adapt the way they work.
Hope this all makes sense and feel free to copy this thread on your support query to the authors of Karma, it might provide them some background and get them to a suggestion a little quicker for you.

MemberHey,
Thanks for the screenshot – do you by any chance have this page viewable for us? Maybe a URL to see this in action? if so we may be able to follow what you have and see where we can point you in the right directions
