ParticipantHi,
I have a page that I want to include a list of events of a certain category. I’ve got the code for that, but it’d be nice if I could get it to look the same as the main calendar page home page list view. I could replicate all the styles… but thought I’d see if there is a built-in way to do this?December 25, 2013 at 3:06 pm #83922Neill
MemberHi Courtney
Could you tell us if what method or code you are planing on using to accomplish this?
We have limited support this week – but should be able to get going on helping you out if you can give us an idea of how you plan to do this?

MemberHi there,
Just checking in to see if this is still something that you need us to look into?

ParticipantHere’s what I ended up doing: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/673a99980962542b39bd
I wanted my page that listed a subset of the events to display in the same way the main events page does for list view. Let me know if you have other suggestions.January 5, 2014 at 1:46 pm #87098Neill
MemberHi There,
Thanks for the copy of the code. Let me touch base with a developer here on the team and see what he thinks. Should be able to get back to you pretty quickly.
Thanks

ParticipantI mostly have it working the way I want it to with one exception: The venue info is not displaying as it does within the regular events page list view. I can see in firebug that on my page those classes have “%s” in them. Check it out: http://i.imgur.com/uZgEKs4.jpg
Do you know why this is?January 10, 2014 at 7:48 am #90131Neill
MemberHey,
Thanks for the screenshot – do you by any chance have this page viewable for us? Maybe a URL to see this in action? if so we may be able to follow what you have and see where we can point you in the right directions

ParticipantUnfortunately, I can’t show it to you yet, as the site isn’t live and accessible to the public. What I ended up doing was using some jQuery to add classes to those weird s% divs. Then I could have my way with them. So I’m good for now, but if you’re interested I can give you a link when the site goes live. It would be nice if there was an easy way to display a subset of the events in a similar way as the main events page. Kind of is like having two calendars, but really it’s just separating events by category.

MemberThanks for the update.
Yes we certainly would be interested in taking a look at your solution when its live and seeing if we can give a few pointers.
In the mean time I’m sure you’ve seen this but just in case we have quite a few tutorial for themers here: https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/
I’m going to close out this ticket for now, but feel free to open a new one if you run in to any more issues, or when the site is live.
Thanks
Neill
