MemberHi Adam
Thanks for you question. So first off welcome to the forums!
With the WooTickets add-on there is an option to set a specific number of tickets. In the 2.0 version of this add-on we have now abandoned the PDF method of generating a ticket which has opened the way for a lot of customization on the back end. The tickets generated are now html based emails. So those two features should set you in the right direction for creating a custom solution. Unfortunately we would not be able to offer a customization service, but when the time comes we sometimes can point you in the right direction with documentation and are happy to do so. The community based around the Event Calendar Plugin and its add-ons such as WooTickets are also very helpful too!
Just to re-iterate one point. To use the WooTickets add-on you will have had to buy the Events Calendar Pro plugin. This coupled with the WooTickets plugin will be what you need to get started on this solution.
Heres a couple of links to The Events Calendar Plugin and the WooCommerce plugin:
Events Calendar Plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-calendar/
WooTickets Add-On:https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-wootickets/ – the last screenshot on this page shows the settings page for a ticket generated by the add-on, but as we mentioned the skys the limit as to what you can customize to this.Hope that answers you question. Let us know if you have any further questions.

MemberHi Robin,
I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you about this issue. We have had a busy couple of days with the release and then limited support over the holiday weekend in the US. We are now back to our usual service of responding within a 24 hour window.
With the extra info you gave me I was able to pinpoint exactly what you are tying to achieve. This has been a request from a few users and as such we have asked one of the developers to take a look at this with us. We may be able to point you in the right direction and provide you with an answer that ticks all your boxes. If you can bare with us a little longer we’ll get back to you ASAP.
Thanks for your patience Robin,
Sincerely
NeillNeill
MemberHi Freshtribe.
Thanks for the info. I thought that might be what you were doing but I just wanted to be sure.
We too see the issue on our end, and this issue is currently being worked on by our team as quick fix. This will be released ASAP.
In the mean time it looks like you are creating content while deactivating the plugin, which isn’t ideal I know. Apologies for this inconvenience. The other alternative, without deactivating the plugin, is to have a second window or tab in your browser open and copy and paste what ever links you need. Sounds obvious I know, but hold tight that fix should be here soon.
Thanks again for your detailed description. It all helps when it comes to isolating these issues and working on a fix.

MemberHi Cynthia,
My sincerest apologies. It looks like we may have made an error on the code that is suppose to be added to your functions.php file.
The original link I sent you has been updated as of 10 minutes ago and now has the correct code to get this working. We have tested it on our end and double checked that this all works. We tested this using the twenty twelve theme. That link again is:https://gist.github.com/neillmcshea/e02186aa700db743aa41
We’re here if you have any further issues. Looking forward to getting this working for you!

MemberJust a word of caution. Changing this setting here will change the way the date is formatted site wide, not just in The Event Calendar plugin.
Neill
MemberHi Genesis,
Thanks for your question.
The Event Calendar takes its date format from what you would have set in the main WordPress settings. You can get there by going to Settings -> General and the option you are looking for looks like this: http://d.pr/i/6C3J
Hope that helps.

MemberHi Freshtribe
Thanks for getting in contact. And welcome to the forums! Can you tell me a little more about the issue. I’d like to get a better idea of your process when this happens.
First of all are you creating this link within a new regular page on the site or within an events page? Then are you trying to link to something internally from the link icon within the WP WYSIWYG editor like here in this screenshot? http://d.pr/i/1McI
If so when you do this you say its just events that show as options correct? Is this the case if you scroll down the list or if you type the name of a page in the search bar?
Let me know what happens in those instances and hopefully we can point you in the right direction.

MemberHi Marcus,
Apologies for not getting to you sooner. Being a holiday weekend in the US we were limited with our support capabilities. We are now back to our usual “24-hour-window” time frame and as the upgrade to the plugin has been released for a few days now, things are starting to settle down.
With regards to the single event URLs. Are these related to the footer widget? If so, one solution that has worked for some of our users is to re-add the widget and flush your permalinks.
It does look like you may have swapped out plugins on your site in the mean time. We do want to make this transition to 3.0 go as smoothly as possible so please let us know if you need any further assistance as we do have the capability at the moment to help make this transition go smoother for upgrading customers. We can also help you downgrade to your previous version of the plugin. Let us now if that is the route you want to take by emailing pro /a/ tri.be referencing this thread so we can get you the help you need. Support for that version will continue for some time, in which case you’ll eventually want to upgrade, but as I mentioned previously we want to help you work out any kinks you might have and do so with a quick turn-around.
Let me know how you wish to proceed and we totally understand if you have decided to go another route.

MemberHi Cynthia,
First of all apologies for not initially not understanding your goal with this issue.
So as we mentioned we had a few busy days with the release of 3.0. That coupled with the holiday weekend in the US kept us from our usual 24-hour response time window, but now that we’re back in a new week, things have returned to normal. We appreciate your patience as you waited for us to work through the flood of questions and support issues that arose after 3.0.
So after consulting a few team members we came up with this as a customized solution:
First you will have to add this code (from the link) to your functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/neillmcshea/e02186aa700db743aa41This will ensure all that the proper css and javascript have been enqueued in the theme header.
Next in either you index.php or home.php add this line:
Give that a try and let me know if it works.
Regarding this being a customized solution. What we mean by that is that this code that you inserted into you theme was originally a solution for your specific need. It wasn’t an issue with the way the plugin worked, it’s an issue with the customized solution we offered a few months prior. That being said, with your helpful comments and feedback it might be the case that this is something that could be of use to add to the functionality of future plugins and might be worth bringing to the teams attention to include in future updates as a setting in the backend, so I’m definitely going to make this comment to the team and thanks for your detailed input.
Let us know how this all goes and if there is anything else we can do.

MemberHi Lupe,
Thanks for getting in contact with us.
Are you talking about the “Add Media” button in the backend of WordPress?
Also have you tried selecting a default theme like Twenty Twelve to see if the problem persists. If not give that a go and let us know what happend. That will give us a little more info that we can use to assist you further. Thanks

MemberHi Cynthia,
Thanks for your message and I’m sorry your transition to 3.0 had this issue. The code you were using previously in 2.xx was customized. Normally we’d love to help you get this working and would point you in the right direction, but with the release just taking place a few days ago we are stretched a little thin. If this isn’t very urgent we can probably get you the help you need and point you in the right direction in a few days time. Things should have settled down a little by the middle of next week.
In the mean time if you want to try a solution yourself the new template that is closest to what you were using previously is “loop-grid.php”. I can’t guarantee the current code you are using will work by just replacing the new template name, and I suspect it will need a lot more tweaking, but if this fix is urgent, it might be enough info to set you in the right direction.

MemberHi Janpp
Thanks for your info. I can see the issue on my end also. The first thing I’d have you do is try deactivating all your plugins and see if any of them are causing a conflict. I’d also try reverting back to to 2012 default WP theme and see if the issue still occurs in that environment.
Send us a quick message when thats done and let us know the results. That way we’ll be able to dig a little deeper.
Thanks

MemberI believe what you are looking for is outlined here:
http://docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar-PRO/source-function-tribe_display_saved_venue.html#300-312 – This is specifically highlighting the venue meta.Neill
MemberHey Chris.
Yes you can do that in the Venues Tab under the events options: http://d.pr/i/2ci3
If you do that you will have to also make sure (and do this part first) that there is no default venue listed in Setting -> Default Content (see: http://d.pr/i/IDyY). Once that is done click on venues and you can select all the venues and preform a bulk trash on all of them. This will delete all the venues from the plugin and will now mean the venue location will not show any info.
Will that work?
Neill
MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for your question. You may be able to get around this by not having to change the theme files at all. If you just don’t want location info to display and the plugin is resorting to a default location and displaying that, then go to your Settings -> Default Content and deselect the option for replacing empty fields with default content ( see here: http://d.pr/i/5Sjd). Now when creating an event just leave the content fields empty and no information will display.
If this doesn’t answer your question or there’s a senario where this doesn’t cut it, let us know and we can dig a little deeper. Just give us a few specifics in that instance.
Hope thats what you were looking for.
