ParticipantHi Guys. Since upgrading to version 3, the footer on my theme as been displaced by about 5px. it doesn’t occur on any other page. Any idea what’s causing this?

MemberHi Marcus,
Thanks for contacting us and I hope you are liking the new features in 3.0.
Just a couple of questions to help us figure out what’s going on here. Firstly could you check to see if the footer is like this if you revert to the default WP theme such as Twenty Thirteen? I’m guessing it probably won’t, but its always good to make sure this isn’t an issue on multiple themes.
Second in the Event Calendar plugin settings there are options to change the style of the event calendar. In the “Events” tab under Setting -> Display you should see three options that look like this: http://d.pr/i/J0NM. Try switching, first to the “Skeleton” style and then to “Full” and see what the site looks like in either of those styles.
Send us a quick reply once you’ve done that and let us know what happened. This will give us a good starting point to help get to the bottom of this issue.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Neil,
Thanks for the quick response. I reverted to the WP default theme, and the footer returned to normal. I switched between all the views in the display settings but to no avail. I’m currently using the “Utility” theme. WhenI first upgraded to 3, everything was exceptionally wider than the main container. Single events still are. I changed the width of the calendar to 97% so it would fit within the container.July 6, 2013 at 7:19 am #53603Marcus

MemberHi Marcus,
Apologies for not getting to you sooner. Being a holiday weekend in the US we were limited with our support capabilities. We are now back to our usual “24-hour-window” time frame and as the upgrade to the plugin has been released for a few days now, things are starting to settle down.
With regards to the single event URLs. Are these related to the footer widget? If so, one solution that has worked for some of our users is to re-add the widget and flush your permalinks.
It does look like you may have swapped out plugins on your site in the mean time. We do want to make this transition to 3.0 go as smoothly as possible so please let us know if you need any further assistance as we do have the capability at the moment to help make this transition go smoother for upgrading customers. We can also help you downgrade to your previous version of the plugin. Let us now if that is the route you want to take by emailing pro /a/ tri.be referencing this thread so we can get you the help you need. Support for that version will continue for some time, in which case you’ll eventually want to upgrade, but as I mentioned previously we want to help you work out any kinks you might have and do so with a quick turn-around.
Let me know how you wish to proceed and we totally understand if you have decided to go another route.

MemberHi Marcus,
I just wanted to touch base to see if you are still having any issues? If you still need help just let me know and we can dig a little deeper for you. Otherwise, if I don’t hear from you by Friday, I’ll close the ticket and If this is still an issue after that just open a new thread and we’ll be happy to get you the help you need.
