MemberHi Guys,
Just an update on this. I’m getting a developer to take a look at this and should be able to get back to you pretty soon. If you have any more info to update please let us know as the more info you can give the better. thanks for your patience on this one.Neill

MemberSorry Maria,
I didn’t notice you mentioning that this was the the case when visiting the tag from the admin section also. I just needed to confirm that the link was an issue both on the front and back end.
It looks like they are working on the front end though. Can you confirm that? Is there a tag that doesn’t seem to work on the front end? I’m clicking on the Meta in the single events (e.g. http://d.pr/i/L1qQ). Let me know if you notice any tags not working on the front end from this side of things and we’ll take it from there.
In the mean time I’ll get with a developer and see if we can pin down whats going on.
Thanks for your screenshots and info.

MemberHi Anthony,
Thanks for getting in touch. Can you give us an idea of what event you are talking about or maybe a URL? That would be great.
Thanks!

MemberDorothy,
Thanks for the update. If you ever change your mind let us know by opening a new thread and we’ll point you in the right direction.

MemberHi Maria,
Can you tell me what happens when you hit the “view” button when you look up the event tags in the Events > Tags. (e.g. http://d.pr/i/I1gN). That view button should take you to the correct URL as its where you would have set the event tag up. This should give me a better idea of what going on.
Thanks Maria

MemberGood to hear! I’ll close this thread out but feel free to open a new thread with any other issues.
Thanks Isgdessrts

Member@brownjm, Good to hear. If you think you have come across a separate issue here with regard to your site on a mobile device then best route would be to start a new thread. At present there’s no much we are supporting regarding the responsiveness of the plugin but it is on the horizon to be fully responsive soon, so any information you give us would be very helpful. Starting a new thread would also be helpful for other users with the same issue.
@Ellen – Are you all set or do you still need some help?

MemberHi threecedars,
I believe the way that the date is formatted would be inherited from WordPress. In which case, you’d have to read up on the codex they provide for how to work with that: http://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time. Bare in mind it will change site wide.
As for the month view title, if you managed to implement the changes from the example tutorial, you would just have to include the template for month view which is “tribe_is_month ()”
Having a read through the themers guide ( https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) might give you the overview of views and templates you’ll need for any other template changes, and then don’t forget the documentation. For example here’s a definition of “tribe_is_month ()” in the documentation: http://docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar/function-tribe_is_month.html
One other thing that I find very useful is the search bar on that same page – it has an auto-finish function that pulls up all definitions, if you are in the ball park of what you are searching for (e.g. http://d.pr/i/3w9G)
Hope that helps.

MemberHi Ricardobetta,
Just want to touch base with you and see if you are all set here or if you still need some assistance. If it turns out to be the same issue as Cynthia was having, we have released a workaround on this thread here: https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/event-post-posts-twice-on-the-same-page/#post-58592
Let us know if this works for you also. If not we’d be happy to help dig a little deeper.

MemberGlad to hear it. I close this out for now and you should see a fix for this in a coming release.
Thanks again for your help Cynthia

MemberHi Granatdesign,
Thank you for your question. Its a good one! Sorry for delay in getting to it.
I do have an answer for this, but I would like to test on my end first to see if its still a good solution considering we’ve now released 3.0. Please bare with me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I figure it out.
Thanks again for you patience, and I’ll be back shortly.

MemberHi Maria,
Apologies for the delay in getting you the help you need. We’re here now to help you though this.
Can you confirm what version of the plugin you are using. The 3.0 version of the plugin was released a few weeks ago if you are on an older version a simple upgrade may be the answer. Don’t forget to do all the usual backups etc if you are going to upgrade, just in case there may be any other conflicts with your theme files or plugins you are running. If there are any other issues we are happy to help.
If you are sticking to an older version of the plugin for a particular reason, thats fine too, but just let us know as much as you can about the environment you are running and we’ll do our best to help.
Thanks again for your patience.

MemberHi Dorothy,
Apologies on my end too for the delay in getting back to you. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this for you.
From the URL you have provided I can see this content here: http://d.pr/i/KEJt below the calendar. Is this what you would like to use as a sidebar? Or have you removed the side bar content for now?
The first think I’d like to check is what template are you using under Settings > Display of the plugin? The dropdown you are looking for should look like this: http://d.pr/i/WiJ1. If you haven’t already tried some of the other templates then I’d suggest that first and see where we are from there.
Thanks Dorothy.

MemberHey Littlerchicken,
I just need to double check a few things before I dig any deeper. I just want to confirm that this issue still occurs when you switch theme’s. Maybe try the twenty twelve theme. I can’t seem to recreate it on our end and as I haven’t seen this yet, on any other threads, I want to rule out that this isn’t an issue with your theme.
Also if you can think of any other settings that might did deeper that would be great. Apologies for not getting to the bottom of this sooner, but I can’t see anything in your functions file that would cause this.
Thanks
