MemberHi again Didik,
I tested out these files and they are all looking great. I’ve added them to the plugin for the next maintenance release and credited you in the readme.txt files. Thank you so much for doing these translations for us!

MemberThanks so much for helping out here jhonnavarro.
msriolobos, to have your whole site an the dates on the calendar show in Spanish, you will also need to download and install the Spanish WordPress files. You can find details and files on the WordPress Codex page.

MemberHi jhonnavarro,
Yes, that’s correct. To translate for 3.6, you’ll first need to download the latest .pot files from the Getting Started post. Then open the .po file for your language in PoEdit. Then click Category –> Update from POT File. Select the .pot file from the /lang folder you downloaded above, and the new strings will then be available in your .po file for you to translate.

MemberHi again kz,
I wasn’t able to get this download to work either, unfortunately. And as I mentioned in the other post, I’ll need to get the ms_MY translations of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO before we consider any translations for the add-ons.
Thank you,
Leah
Leah
MemberHi kz,
I appreciate you working on this translation. However, I was unable to access the download link you gave.
Also, as specified in our Getting Started post, we need to have a translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO before any of the add-ons such as these ticketing plugins. If you would like to have these added to our plugin, you’ll need to do those two plugins as well.
Thank you,
Leah

June 24, 2014 at 11:45 am in reply to: Can recurring events be set to show only in the year they are set? #247715Leah
MemberHey Peter,
Glad to hear this will probably work for you.
1. Will the events that were set to recur still publish recurring events after 12 months or do they need to be saved again?
If the original event is still in the system (that is, if it’s not one of the ones you deleted) then yes, the plugin will automatically publish the recurring event based on the schedule you set.
2. Does this mean the next recurring event will only show 12 months from the original published event date? If so this may mean the event only shows just before the event day? Is that correct?
The 12 months is not from the first date- it’s in advance. So if you have an event set to recur every year on June 25th, the 2015 event will be created (and show on your calendar) on June 26, 2014. So each instance will show on your calendar for the 12 months before the actual date of the event. Does that clarify?
3. With both settings at 12 months will this still keep an archive or will events older than 12 months be deleted?
If you have the Clean up recurring events after set to 12 months then those events will be deleted from the system (not archived) 12 months after the event date. The recurring series will still continue, but you won’t have the archive. If you want an archive, you’ll want to set that to a much higher number so that the events stay in the system.
I hope that helps answer your questions. Let me know if I can elaborate or clarify at all.
Cheers,

MemberHi sakirose,
Thanks for your post. As you’ve found, Events Calendar PRO itself does not come with any ticketing or registration features. However, we have five different ticketing plugins for different third-party ecommerce engines.
For website #1, I’m only interested in a solution where they can sign up to secure a spot (no payments required).
All five of our ticketing plugins allow you to do free tickets, and each one uses a different third-party commerce engine. You can choose depending on what ecommerce engine you prefer- WooCommerce, Eventbrite, WP-Ecommerce, Shopp, or Easy Digital Downloads. You can read more about our plugins on the product pages (above, under Products). You’ll need to go to the ecommerce engines’ own sites to learn more about them and find out if they’ll meet your needs.
I highly recommend that you look through the New User Primer for whichever plugins interest you so you can get a feel for how they work and what the backend of the plugin looks like.
For the second website, I’m interested in a solution where they can do #1 plus I can charge a fee for the workshop and they can pay with a credit card or paypal. Thanks!
All of our plugins also allow you to do paid tickets. You could have the workshop made as a ticket that users would purchase to secure their spot. I believe that most (if not all) of our ecommerce options do accept credit cards and Paypal. However, you will want to confirm that on the ecommerce plugin’s website.

LeahLeah
MemberHi Michele,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins!
1) In order to use WooCommerce we have to buy Event Cal PRO plugin also or we could use the free one?
You do not need to buy Events Calendar PRO. WooCommerce Tickets works just fine with our free core plugin. You would only need to buy PRO if you wanted some of the other PRO features.
2) All Modern Tribe plugins support “early bird” ticket discount?
Yes and no… with our ticketing plugins, you can decide when tickets go on sale and when they are no longer on sale. However, you set that for all the tickets, not the individual tickets. You could potentially use that to have Early Bird tickets, and then change the dates and no longer have those tickets at all, and sell regular ones instead. You could also have a certain number of Early Bird tickets that were cheaper, and when they were sold out only the regular ones would be available. Would something like that meet your needs?
I recommend that you check the New User Primer for WooCommerce Tickets so you can get a feel for the backend of the plugin. That will show you what kind of options are available.
3) Did you never experience any ticket box/procedure incompatibility with WP templates pro (like Avada or similar)?
I don’t know about specific incompatibility with our ticket plugins, but I know that some folks have had some trouble with Avada and Events Calendar PRO. From a quick glance through the forums it looks like most of them were fixable, if you’re willing to work with the code a little bit. If you’re comfortable doing some theming, you are probably okay. However, please note that we cannot ever guarantee theme compatibility, and we are only able to provide limited advice for theme conflicts.
