RegardsMarch 6, 2014 at 4:33 pm #116031LeahMemberHi jhonnavarro,
Thank you so much for working on these. The translations for Events Calendar PRO and Community Events look good, but you have some missing and/or incorrect translations for The Events Calendar. They are all from the CSV Importer page. Here are some of the incorrect strings:
#: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:17 msgid "Import Instructions" msgstr "Importar de iCal" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:20 msgid "If your events have Organizers or Venues, please import those first." msgstr "M j, Y @ G:i" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:21 msgid "To import organizers or venues:" msgstr "M j, Y @ G:i" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:23 msgid "Select the appropriate import type." msgstr "Tipo" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:24 #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:30 msgid "" "Upload a CSV file with one record on each line. The first line may contain " "column names (check the box below)." msgstr "Primero" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:26 #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:32 msgid "" "After you upload your file, you'll have the opportunity to indicate how the " "columns in your CSV map to fields in The Events Calendar." msgstr "Columnas" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:28 msgid "After importing your Organizers and Venues, import your Events:" msgstr "M j, Y @ G:i" #: ../lib/io/csv/admin-views/import.php:31 msgid "" "One column in your CSV should have the Event title. Another should have the " "Event start date. All other fields are optional." msgstr "Fecha de Inicio"
Please re-translate those strings and then send me the new translation file. Then I can add it to our plugin. Thanks again for all your hard work!
Best,
Leah

Those look perfect! Thanks so much for working on them. I will be emailing you shortly with a coupon so you can get licenses for Events Calendar PRO and Community Events. We will include your translations in the next maintenance release of the plugins.

a question, to update the language of the version 3.6 with PoEdit program, I need to update from POT file??regards
June 24, 2014 at 11:54 am #247769LeahMemberHi jhonnavarro,
Yes, that’s correct. To translate for 3.6, you’ll first need to download the latest .pot files from the Getting Started post. Then open the .po file for your language in PoEdit. Then click Category –> Update from POT File. Select the .pot file from the /lang folder you downloaded above, and the new strings will then be available in your .po file for you to translate.
Best,
Leah
