MemberHi Yuri,
Thanks for your post. We don’t have any demos for you to test out, but we’d be happy to answer any specific questions you might have about the plugin. The product page has details and screenshots you can check out. You should also take a look through the New User Primer, which walks you through everything the plugin can do and gives you a great idea of how it works. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,

MemberHi Ben,
Thanks for your post. We had a problem with the Cart this weekend, but it has since been resolved so you should now be able to purchase. Our apologies for the trouble there!
Do you have any screen shots of what the plug in looks like?
There are a couple screen shots on the products page. They show the two backend pages that the plugin adds. Since the plugin does not have any front-end use, there are no front end screenshots.
Can people sign up to the event on their site with their facebook page? And does it show the people who are coming and their facebook profiles?
At this time, these features are not part of our plugin. We are considering adding them in the future. Facebook Events is a simple plugin designed specifically to bring events from Facebook into The Events Calendar, but it does not add any other Facebook-like features.

MemberHi Josh,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins. I’m happy to answer your questions.
Customers will need to be able to log in post purchase and download some learning materials. This may be available through a separate WooCommerce plugin but just wanted to ask whether you’ve had any other sites offer something similar with your plugins.
This may well be possible, but it would all be via a different plugin and/or customization. Our plugins do not have a baked-in login/membership feature, although they can be used with the WordPress roles. I don’t know of any sites doing precisely what you describe, but people have certainly done membership based sites. If you are comfortable integrating different plugins and doing some customizing, I think you could do what you describe 🙂
The courses will have a fixed price, but only a deposit will be paid online (The remainder will be paid in person at the course). Is this possible?
You can set tickets at a specific price, and in this case you would probably want to call the ticket “Deposit” and then explain the full price and the payment requirements in the description of the event. You could also use Event Calendar PRO’s Additional Fields feature to list the Full Price and Deposit in the event metadata. Would that work for you?
Let me know if I can elaborate or answer any other questions.
Cheers,
LeahLeah

MemberHi Stephen,
Thanks for the info. You mentioned you have Events Calendar PRO but according to my records you only have a license for EDD Tickets. Do you have a PRO license on another account? I need to confirm what your versions are for both our core plugin (The Events Calendar) and Events Calendar PRO (if you have it). If you want, you could send me a picture of your Plugins page.
Thanks for your patience while we figure this out. Do keep in mind that EDD Tickets will continue to work just fine even without the license inputter. You still have all the same features, you just don’t have access to automatic updates. But we’ll make sure to get you set up.
Cheers,
Leah

MemberHi des1mgeert,
Thanks for posting. Our Dutch translation files are getting out of date, which is why you are seeing those strings in English. I’d love to have you update our translation files so they are complete again! If you’re interested, you can head over to our Getting Started thread. You’ll find all the files and instructions you need there.
All of our translations are maintained by community members, so if you are not able to update you’ll need to wait for someone else who can work on the translation.

MemberHi Nedko,
Thanks for the screenshots, those were very helpful. I checked them over and found that most of them were PoEdit errors. I’ve fixed those and you can download the new files here.
On the Week View image you sent- several of the strings there (such as the day of the week and the month name) are actually translated by the WordPress files. So you’ll need to download the Bulgarian WP files to get those translated. To change the Date Format from the “27th” style, go to Events –> Settings –> Display and change the Date Format setting for Week Day Format to whatever style you prefer.
Two of the screenshots you included did reveal incorrect text domains which are causing the translations not to work. Those were the widget “View All” link and the System Information part of the Help page. Both of those have been ticketed and will be fixed soon.
Thank you for your thorough report!
Best,
Leah

MemberHi Jacob,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins! To allow visitors/third-parties to submit events to your calendar, you’ll need to have Community Events. In order to show the events on a map you’ll also need Events Calendar PRO, which includes Map View.
At this time, Community Events does not allow you to charge people for posting their events. We are considering adding that feature, and you can vote for it here. However, if you need to be able to do that now, you would need to do some complex customizing to the current plugin. That isn’t something we could help you with I’m afraid. You would also need to customize in order to do featured events.
Does that answer your questions?

Leah

Member<p>Hi Stefaan,</p><p>Thanks for your post. I’m sorry that the regular payment options won’t work for you. Unfortunately, I don’t think the Eventbrite payment processor will work in this situation. Because I don’t have it set up on my test account I wasn’t able to check. I’d love to have you input that code you mentioned into an event in The Events Calendar (our free core plugin) to see if that might work. </p><p>However, even if that did work I don’t know about having it appear underneath the meta box. That might be possible with some in-depth customizing, but that isn’t something we could help out with. I think you best option would be to add that code into the description of the event and have it appear there. Do please let me know if that works- I’d like to know for future reference.</p><p>Thanks for your interest, and do let me know if there’s anything else I can help out with.</p><p>Best,</p><p>Leah</p>
