MemberHi sergioral,
The reason you are seeing so many words in English is because the translation for The Events Calendar is really outdated. Although you updated Community Events, some strings are translated in the TEC .po file, which is very outdated. Would you be interested in updating the translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO? That would fix your site and we’d give you a free license in exchange.
If you are interested, check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. Be sure to follow step #6 to update the .po files before you start.

MemberHi subjetiva,
Thanks for your post. That string is part of WooCommerce, so it requires using the pt_BR translation for WooCommerce as well. I also recommend making sure that you have the Brazilian Portuguese files for WordPress installed so that things like days of the week get translated.

MemberHi swingcal,
There used to be a separate Export to Google link, but there is now one export link. However, you can add that exported file to Google Calendar or iCal 🙂 You can find instructions for importing to Google Calendar on this page.

MemberHi Loftur,
The reason you are seeing so many words in English (and incorrect translations) is because the translation is really outdated. All of our plugins are translated by volunteers, and no one has worked on this one in a while. Would you be interested in updating the translation? That would fix your site and we’d give you a free license in exchange.
If you are interested, check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. Make sure to follow step #6 so that all the new strings show up. If you are not able to translate it, you’ll unfortunately need to wait for someone else to update the files.

MemberOh man, that’s my bad! I totally should have asked if you were on a multi-site from the get-go. My apologies! But I’m glad you figured it out 😀

MemberHi stephencirving,
Would you be willing to email the screenshots I was previously asking for? I’d really like to see those since I am pretty stumped here. You can email them to pro (at) tri.be.
You should be able to delete the plugin and then upload the new one without losing order details, but we always recommend that you backup your site beforehand, just in case. And I can’t guarantee that deleting EDD itself will work that way, although I don’t believe you’ll need to delete the EDD commerce engine itself, just the EDD Tickets plugin from us.

MemberHi crystalparknewmedia,
If you need to maintain your specific translation, you would need to somehow keep it from getting overwritten in an update. However, I don’t think you’ll need to- can you please try downloading and installing the nl_NL files that Dirk made? Those will be automatically included in the next release of the plugin, and you wouldn’t need to worry about them getting overwritten. I suspect that doing that will fix your trouble with the Next/Previous links as well 🙂

MemberHi dixalex,
I’m sorry I didn’t see your post earlier. You can definitely submit updated versions of the plugins to make corrections. You can upload them for me here or in a new thread. I can help with the issues you mentioned (and did the screenshots of) but I will need more information about where you are seeing those- like what page or file. Then I can make sure they get fixed.

MemberHi Jodi,
Setting up an ecommerce site can be complex if you have complex needs, but a basic setup is pretty straightforward. I recommend you check out our WooCommerce Tickets New User Primer to see some of the set up. You can also explore the WooCommerce website. They have lots of helpful documentation for the ecommerce plugin itself. I would guess that you could get a basic setup going in just a few hours.
If you decide to stick with the third-party ticketing system, you can link to them from an event’s description. Some users have even customized our plugin to display a tickets button or similar. Does that answer your questions?

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for your post. The problem is that even though the strings are translated, the .po file itself is outdated so the translations don’t work as they should. What you’ll need to do is update the .po file you’re using with the latest .pot file. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the file and the instructions to do this (in step #6).
If you need help, let me know what language you are using and I can assist you. I’d also be interested in having you add your translations to the plugins, if it’s one we don’t have an update for. You could earn a free PRO license in exchange. The details are in the Getting Started post as well.
